An extremely interesting building - We had an extremely informative guide who gave us a great insight into how Gaudi, the architect, thought. Taking the 8 am small group tour was really good as we had the whole place to ourselves. Highly recommend.

La Pedrera Early Access Tour-The Best Way To Go! - My wife and I took the “La Pedrera Early Access Small-Group Tour” this past September 20, 2019. Our guide’s English language skills were flawless. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architectural design theory, and construction techniques of the building. Being an architect, myself, I was impressed by his ability to answer my myriad of questions. I really wish that I could remember his name and give him personal credit. However since we were on the road for a month, I really don’t remember his name. Our guide was very personable and patient as my wife and I along with the other couple on the tour stopped to take pictures and spend some extra time along various portions of the tour. None of us ever felt rushed. Our exceptional guide brought La Pedrera to life as he also related the story of the Milo family who commissioned Antoni Gaudi to design and build this outstanding piece of architecture. He continued on with the story as to the initial interactions and finally the conflicts that later ensued between designer and owner…quite fascinating. In my opinion this is the best tour of La Pedrera. Because our tour began one hour before the facility officially opened, we were able to view the area in peace and quiet, stroll at a relaxed pace, and not have loads of people bumping into us and making it hard to hear our guide talk. We were able to really enjoy a tour of the whole facility-inside as well as on the rooftop. As our tour ended and we exited outside, we saw quite a crowd lined up waiting for their turn. We, however, were given vouchers for the El Café de La Pedrera which is right next door. What a beautiful restaurant…Great coffee…any kind of hand-made pastry that you could want…perfect ending to a perfect morning tour. Dan Houston

Unbelievable! - After you marvel at the exterior...take a tour of the inside. Essentially being used as offices and "grandfathered" residential housing, this masterpiece Is an awesome look at a phenomenal forward thinking artist, architect and developer who was definitely ahead of his time. The structures are unbelievable yet inspiring to know that Gaudi had such efficient and effective reasons for his "art". As you grasp the fact that he had ergonomic and dual purposes in mind when he made this visual feast.. its ABSOLUTELY overwhelming ! The gift shop onsite is a small but unique way to take a souvenir of your experience. Silver jewelry reminiscent of his designs was my treat! You have to see from the roof much less the street!!

La Pedrera early morning guided - Our tour guide was wonderful (sorry I can’t remember his name!). He was smart and friendly and informed. The group was smaller than 15 people and it was a real luxury to be there before the crowds and their cameras and selfies descended on the building. The group was composed of knowledgeable tourists who were really interested in the history and architecture. Well worth waking early and paying extra.

Great place to visit - This place is a very unusual hundred-year old apartment building designed by Gaudi in his usual style. While it may look strange to us, it seems very well laid-out and would have been a great place to live at the time. The roof is a challenge for anyone with problems with heights, but there are handrails to hold!

My favourite among Gaudi's pieces - There is a reason why this stunning creation was declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. This beautiful building is in Passeig de Gracia near Casa Batllo. Love the design as definitely looked more classier than other Gaudi creations (with the exception of course of the magnificent La Sagrada Familia) Worth visiting. Hope this helps, Gorgeous Raquel
