Fun morning tour - Marc has excellent historic knowledge and fun stories. This is not a tour for someone with limited mobility. Though there is a bus that takes you between the two sites, there is significant up hill walking in the park.

A MUST! - Andrea and Manny were both excellent hosts and chefs. The Paella? Out. Of. This. World. This is an experience that I shall treasure for life.

The BEST cooking experience! - We had the most fun cooking with Luca. This was hands-down the best experience that we had in Barcelona. The tapas were wonderful and so was the sangria. Luca taught us things we have never heard of before. The paella was amazing! We would have done this cooking experience twice if we were not leaving the next day. I would recommend this event to anyone!

Great experience and worth every penny - We met at a slightly seedy cafe deep in the gothic quarter. Whirlwind tour around local market then; wow; anonymous door then marble staircase up to fabulous kitchen and dining room. Luca is a consummate entertainer as well as good chef. A good teacher and very easy to talk to. We loved his tapas and understood his paella. That doesn’t mean we enjoyed it very much: sorry to say that but better to be honest

Make your own paella? Sign me up! - Great for a group of about 10-12 ao for us it was perfect. Loved the walk to the market to pick up fresh fish and the paella making was informative (now have a much easier way to devein shrimp) and also casual. The paella was delicious! Sangria was lovely too!

This was a great class to... - This was a great class to experience the market, meet new people, and learn how to make real Spanish paella. The food and drinks were amazing as well as the company. Andrea was awesome!

Cooking experience convert - This was my first time ever trying a cooking class, and I finally understood why people who try it once tend to make it a routine part of their travels thereafter. This class, in particular, was so fun with Andre and Alejandro as our chef hosts. The pacing was impeccable and their teaching style was engaging and funny. You get to learn some history--not just about paella the dish--but also about the city; you’ll get a mix of niche facts and basic tips on cooking; and best of all, you’ll be able to cook at a pace that works for you. You won’t be pressured to do something you don’t want to do. Highly recommend this experience and this duo!

Not the best cooking experience - It was very disappointing that we were unable to experience the market tour. Although we enjoyed learning how they made paella in Spain, there was minimal hand on experience for many in the class. We’ve participated in many cooking classes during our travels, and this one was the least hands on. The group was not welcoming and a few took over the experience. It was also disappointing that we were told we had to walk back to the original meeting point for the churros and hot chocolate. It was dark and we were to find our own way back. Not very friendly in my opinion.
