A wonderful tour and with all the support of the guide. - Since GoCity refused to post our rating without further explanation, we will post on TripAdvisor, which values transparency and truth about the Hotel Tourism industry. It was an excellent tour coordinated by Julià Travel on 17/07/2025. It is worth seeing both cities. Girona is a part-time show due to being a medieval city and having been set of filming for the series Game of Thones. The Dalí Museum is fantastic. It is worth it even for those who do not know the surrealist painter. We were very well served by the guide, who gave a lesson about Girona and Dalí, showing photos of the filming at the exact points. Unfortunately we do not remember his name, but he helped us a lot in a downtime. My wife twisted her foot in the middle of the tour, and he did the kindness of helping us find a pharmacy next to the Dalí museum, where she was promptly treated and medicated. Because of him, we can make the whole tour.

Unsafe and irresponsible — worst experience for a solo traveler - Unsafe and irresponsible — worst experience for a solo traveler I booked the Girona + Dalí Museum day tour with Julia Travel for 13th July 2025, expecting a smooth and professional experience. Instead, it turned into one of the most stressful and unsafe travel days of my life. The tour group left Girona without me, even though I was only 10 minutes late and had tried contacting them. No one called to check, no one asked if I was lost or safe, and they didn’t provide the contact details of the guide (Nuria) or the driver. As a solo woman in Spain for the first time who doesn’t speak Spanish, this was extremely distressing. Their office number was unreachable, and my husband in India had to call repeatedly just to get through. Even then, they refused to give the guide’s number or help me rejoin the group in any way. I had to spend €77 on a taxi from Girona to Figueres just to reach the Dalí Museum. At the museum, the same thing happened again — the guide had clearly told us to return by 3:45 PM, and I was there by 3:35 PM, but the group had already left. I was told later they had changed the time to 3:15, without informing me. No calls, no messages, nothing. To return to Barcelona, I had to figure everything out on my own. Julia Travel had given no details about train stations. I mistakenly went to the wrong station and had to pay €15 more for a taxi to reach the correct one. My pre-booked train ticket cost €26, and I just barely made it — all while my phone battery was dying. So in total, I lost over €115, was left stranded twice, and felt completely unsafe — despite having paid for a fully guided and managed day tour. And Julia Travel’s response? They blamed me entirely. No apology, no empathy, no assistance. Not even basic safety checks. I booked them for their reputation, but this was by far the worst tour experience I’ve had. I would strongly advise solo travelers, especially women, to avoid Julia Travel. They are disorganized, unhelpful, and irresponsible.
