- Artcava - The tour begins with a visit to Artcava Winery, a charming winery situated in an old Catalan farmhouse. Participants will learn about the production of cava in Penedés and have the opportunity to taste three of their main wines and cavas.
- Giro del Gorner - The second stop is just five minutes from the first winery. Here, visitors will explore a 500-year-old cellar, owned by a brother and sister from the same family since the 1800s.
Guests will enjoy a wine pairing featuring three different cavas and still wines, along with local food, in the beautiful garden overlooking the vineyards. The lunch includes local delicacies such as Spanish omelette, Catalan bread with tomato, virgin olive oil, local cheese, and cold meats.

Vins El Cep - Vins el Cep is a stunning winery nestled in nature, offering a serene setting for a relaxing cava tasting. Here, participants will taste a Pet-nat and a Cava Gran Reserva.

An Amazing Tasting Day - This is one of the best wine tours I've ever taken, and I've taken a lot! Joan picked me up a 2 minute walk from my hotel, and gave us lots of information about the region, local towns, and wine regions on our way to Priorat (approx 2 hour drive).
We made 3 tasting stops; 2 wineries, and a beautiful hillside vineyard. At the second winery we had a pairing lunch at extra cost, but it was definitely worth it - the food was exceptional.
Throughout the day we tasted 15 wines and, as well as Joan's knowledge, we were able to spend time with winemakers and winery staff, gaining more information on the grapes, land, and viticulture from them.
This was a really comprehensive trip to explore the the region's wines, and would be great for anyone, no matter your level of wine knowledge. There was the opportunity to buy wine at each of the stops, but absolutely no pressure to do so.

Unforgettable Cava Wine Tour in Catalonia – Educational, Fun, and Full of Flavor - This was one of the best experiences we had in Catalonia. Guided by Joan, a knowledgeable and friendly sommelier, we visited three family-run wineries, each offering something unique.
The first stop, led by Santiago, gave us a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the entire Cava production process. The second winery treated us to a fantastic brunch with both still and sparkling wines. The final stop focused exclusively on Cava and featured a delicious artisanal chocolate pairing.
The tour was educational, fun, and incredibly well-curated. If you're looking for a deeper understanding of Cava with great food, beautiful scenery, and warm hospitality, don’t miss this tour!

Best highlight of our Barcelona trip. - We really enjoyed the wineries trip! Our guide Joan is very knowledgeable (he is actually a sommelier) and very pleasant guy. We visited three cava wineries and love all of them. Got to learn a lot about Cava from the grapes production and how they bottling the wine. Very interesting. It was a pleasure to be in the tour and we were lucky to be in the group with very nice people as well. Joan even gave us some recommendations on the restaurant and wine bar, and some historical of the city. Recommended tour!

Excellent Experience - We so enjoyed our wine and tapas tour! We booked a group tour but were fortunate to have a private tour with our talented and knowledgable guide. Our guide shared her international culinary knowledge and taught us about tapas and Spanish wines. We learned so much and enjoyed walking through Barcelona neighborhoods to enjoy wonderful tapas and wine. We appreciated her knowledge of both food and wine as well as her willingness to teach us not only about Barcelona culinary culture but how it relates to food and wine in other countries. What a treat!
We highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking to learn more about the Barcelona wine and tapas culture.

Felt like we walked back into Cava history - Ivan took us to 3 incredible wineries. We saw first hand how cava with all the modern machinery, we even got to walk into the home of the original vineyard owner from the 1400’s. The brunch we had, was some of the most delicious and fresh food we’ve had our entire trip in Spain.
Ivan was a very gracious tour guide who made us feel comfortable and helped us to enjoy our time at the vineyards. He taught us about the unique practices in the vineyards and the ways of Spanish life.
He was taking care of us when Spain had the nation-wide blackout. Despite all the uncertainty, the tour went on as usual, and he took us back to our hotel safe and sound. Thank you for the unforgettable tour Ivan!

Awesome Penedes Tour - Excellent Pendes Tour!
I chose this tour with Wino Tours after connecting with them a few years back for a Priorat tour (which I have now just recently repeated), so I wanted to try them out for a Penedes tour. I’ve gone to pendes several times with another tour group, and whilst I enjoyed that one, i wanted to go on this tour to change things up. I will say that this experience surpassed the others- the wineries are excellent and a great representation of the region with very good wine and great wineries to explore. Ariadna was excellent- super guide with excellent knowledge of the wine region AND a somm with wine understanding which you don’t often find on wine tours. Overall an awesome day, and I strongly recommend this tour along with any other through Wino Tours as all of them have been TOP quality.

Perfect day! - Ivan and Juan provided an unforgettable experience! They expertly curated a perfect day for my boyfriend and me, showcasing stunning vineyards. We enjoyed incredible wine, delicious food, and met wonderfully friendly people. Highly recommended – I'm already looking forward to booking another tour!

Unforgettable Private Cava Tour in Penedès – Highly Recommended! - We recently booked a private tour of the Penedès region with friends, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable. We were picked up by van by Joan, our sommelier and guide for the day. Not only was the ride comfortable and private (no strangers—just our group!), but Joan kept us thoroughly entertained and informed throughout the drive with his deep knowledge of wine and the region.
Our first stop was a beautiful vineyard where we got a full behind-the-scenes look at the cava-making process. Martin, our host there, was a delight—warm, funny, and extremely generous with the cava. We sampled three glasses (with unlimited refills!), which made for a very festive start.
The second vineyard offered a rustic and charming spread of torta, fuet, and sausages, accompanied by more delicious wine. The setting was picture-perfect and relaxing. A special mention goes to Tuca, the friendly German Shepherd who (quietly) stole the show—she was adorable and made the experience feel even more special.
Our final stop was a cava and chocolate tasting, which was the perfect sweet ending to an already wonderful day. We went home drunk, happy, and a lot more knowledgeable about cava, the Penedès region, and Catalunya as a whole.
If you're looking for an intimate, well-curated, and unforgettable wine experience, this tour is it. Thank you, Joan, for making the day so memorable!

Great wineries and knowledge - Ivan was a great tour guide with a ton of knowledge both about the wines as well as the history of the region. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour for anyone in the area
