Providing a scenic backdrop for a memorable photo opportunity is a palace now home to the Museum of Catalan Modern art.
We progress to the 1992 Olympic Ring, tracing the footsteps of athletes from another era. The Botanical Garden awaits us next, with a peek into the notable Barcelona cemetery. Weather permitting, we might idle a while in a tucked-away beer garden nestled among evergreens at the peak before circling the storied Montjuïc Castle. Here, we learn about the strategic importance of this natural vantage point overseeing the metropolis.
