Barcelona is a fascinating city of architecture and street art. Catalan modernism has evolved into something of its own. We have a unique opportunity to admire the most prominent structures of the city skyline. Sea kayaking is suitable for beginners and does not require any previous experience. However, all participants must be confident swimmers in the sea. As we propel along Barcelona’s beachfront we will also notice some of the main buildings and structures that were built for the Summer Olympic Games in 1992. The games have completely changed the face of the city and some say that it was this change that made Barcelona - Guapa! After reaching the Olympic Port we will turn around and start returning. We may enjoy a nice Mediterranean dip along the way if desired. Once everyone is showered, changed, and nicely tired yet excited, your guide will walk you into the heart of La Barceloneta to enjoy some delicious tapas in the local Petit Bar. Please bring water shoes, slides or flip-flops to walk from the club to the beach.
