Friendly and knowledgeable - Awesome tour. Very knowledgeable with wine and where to eat and where to avoid. A full 3 hours of enjoyment. I recommend this tour if you are interested in the Gothic Quarters of Barcelona.

Excellent Barcelona tour. Food, drink, and culture combined. - Don't miss this tour. It is a great way to learn the history of Barcelona while you stop to enjoy local cuisine and drinks. It was a beautiful day walking around the city. Our guide, Alasdair, was extremely knowledgeable about the local history. He added so much value to the tour and our entire stay in Barcelona. We were so glad we did this on our first day in the city. Highly recommend it!

Great mix of Barcelona culture & history, combined with food and wine tastings. - I highly recommend this day tour. It was a fabulous way to learn a little history of Barcelona while enjoying local food and wine choices. We stopped at authentic and local places to experience the local cuisine. We tasted the aged Iberian ham, churros, papayas bravos, tapas, Spanish wine and house made vermouth. We are now spoiled after tasting the delicious vermouth from Bodega Vermut. Loved walking through the bustling food market to try different hams and fruit smoothies.
Most of all, we enjoyed our guide Alasdair. He kept in touch with us prior to the tour and made the most of our time. He was very knowledgable about the local history and food. Alasdair was kind and patient with all of our questions. We had a great day with him and felt like we made a new friend.

Recommended 100% - A great experience, Moses explained us with great detail and dedication. Every stop we made there was an opportunity to learn something new and chaste photographs. The food was very good. We always felt very well taken care of. It is a tour worth doing!!

Great mix of history and amazing food! - We really enjoyed our tour with Moises!
He shared a lot of interesting historical facts about the city that we didn’t know (even though we’ve been here several times before).
The food was varied but all typical Catalonian. We enjoyed comparing the different Iberian hams, the vermouth and the potatoes bravas were all amazing!
Really enjoyed our time and highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful history & local cuisine tour! - My wife and I booked a tour with Alasdair, who was a joy to walk around the city with. We were lucky enough to get a tour just the two of us and Alasdair, which made it more personal. Sounds like they normally keep groups small. Alasdair is well traveled and knew a lot about the history of Spain, Catalonia and the Roman influence on Barcelona. This tour also gave a better grasp of the city for future exploration; we would recommend planning this early on in your trip. They did a great job of choosing specific food and drink that represented Barcelona's local flavors. We were a big fan of the churros, vermouth, and patatas bravas!

Fantastic Tour - Fantastic start to our few days in Barcelona. Moises was very informative and very easy to get along with, he also took our personal preferences into account. Two different parts to the tour; firstly the cultural part was very interesting and his recommendations on what else to visit whilst here was very helpful. Secondly the food and wine tastings; absolutely fantastic and ate and drank things that we would never have tried. The visit to Bodega Vermut being the highlight, home made vermouth and a tapas I’d never have tried, this is a hole in the wall near our hotel we’d never have found otherwise. Following his recommendations on where else to eat we went to Fabrica Moritz last night a brewery with fantastic beer and food. Well worth the 15 minute wait in the queue. Salut Moises
