A great Three Country Tour! - We recently took the “Three Country Tour” and it was wonderful! Adrian was prompt and polite and made sure that we were comfortable for the entire tour. We made numerous stops both for great “secret spot” photo opportunities and also local restaurants for delicious pastries and coffee and an incredible ”grill your own steak” lunch. Adrian was very knowledgeable and engaging and we enjoyed our conversations with him immensely. He was very flexible and even though we were initially concerned about the long tour length it went by quickly and pleasantly. We would highly recommend this great tour!

Travelled with Adrian,... - Travelled with Adrian, was an absolutely incredible day. Adrian was very informative and took the time to figure out what would make the trip more meaningful to us and adjusting as we went. He made sure anywhere he gave us free time to explain the places around and where he'd recommend checking out or grabbing a snack. We knew very little about Andorra before going, Adrian was great at explaining how the country came to be, what it does, why it matters, and how they relate to their neighbors. The country itself was beautiful and had my wife ready to move and find an apartment with a view of the mountains!

Amazing Day Trip! - Our trip to Andorra was everything we had dreamed of and more! Adrian was the best guide we could have asked for and truly thought of everything. He gave us all the history and answered all of our questions. He came prepared with water and umbrellas for the rain. He would even stop to clean the windows of the car as we were driving along to make sure we could see everything at all times. He truly went above and beyond! We loved Andorra and all it had to offer. It was a country we never thought we would experience and we are so glad we did! If you are hesitant about booking this tour, don’t be! It’s the perfect day trip outside the busy city of Barcelona. You won’t be disappointed!

Soak up the history and scenery of Andorra and the Pyrenees with an excellent guide - For anyone wanting to explore the tiny country of Andorra and see the beautiful Pyrenees, this is the day trip for you! We had a fabulous 12 hour adventure with our guide Adrian who designed this tour himself. It takes a couple of hours to get to the border but the drive through Catalonia is beautiful also. We then stopped in several of the towns in Andorra and took two walking tours covering all of the interesting and historical sights in the towns. Adrian is well versed in the history of the area and provided excellent information about all of the places we visited. We also stopped at several areas just for the fabulous views. We had a stop in a coffee shop for a snack in the capital Andorra la Vella, and later in the afternoon had a fabulous lunch in a restaurant along the route leading out of the country into France. The scenery is stunning and the pass over into France is historic. We also stopped at a couple of places on the French side before driving back to Barcelona. It was a whirlwind day and we both felt it was of excellent value.

Day tripping through Andorra - Adrian is a delightful, knowledgeable guide. He knows the best places for spectacular pictures, delectable pastries, and clean bathrooms (it’s a long day!). As we traversed the countryside, Adrian educated us about the history of the region and afterward provided suggestions for books and documentaries. I highly recommend a tour with him.

Expert Tour Guide, Excellent Tour! - Adrian was a wonderful tour guide, translator, historian, conversationalist, the list goes on! He did an excellent job of introducing us to the beautiful little country of Andorra. There were so many times when we were walking down a street and he'd stop to point out something interesting that I would have never noticed or would have noticed and not been able to figure out the story behind them (e.g., why are traditional Andorran window guards shaped like that?). Tip: Stop at all the places he suggests for food--everything he suggested to us was amazing!

Super fascinating trip and amazing guide-driver, Adrian - I don't know where to begin, because literally everything in this trip was brilliant. My first point of contact was Samuel who was extremely professional, helpful and provided answers to my multiple queries on safety (3 women), facilities, knowledge of the guide and managing the walking, steps and high altitude. On the day itself, our trip to Andorra was completely magical because of our excellent guide and driver, Adrian, who was the perfect gentleman, super informative Wikipedia and one of the most amazing human beings we have been blessed to have met. He was so prepared as a guide; it was unimaginable the number of little details he focused on to make our trip absolutely unforgettable, and not forgetting that he was on time. His personality was bubbly and yet non-intrusive, ready to answer any question, explain details and provide us with historical facts, stories about Spain and France and Andorra and legends. What was the sweetest thing was his book of pictures which had maps, flags, snaps, and fun facts that he showed us to make history come alive for us. Just before we entered Andorra, he made us listen to a song that just got us super excited to visit Andorra. It was funny and the cutest thing ever that we have ever seen on any tour. He ensured that we had a taste of the local delicacies in terms of the meat (which we cooked on a hot stone), potatoes, cheese, ratatouille, honey infused whiskey, sausages. Knowing that my sister had a passion for photography, he took us to exceptional and breathtaking places along Andorra, the mountains and French Pyrenees. He explained about the different types of rocks and shared a bit about the animal life. He obliged us in being our professional photographer for our family snaps. He even explained to us the meaning of the company logo. The drive to and from Andorra, and Andorra itself is stunning. Andorra is super clean and planned. The mountains and the French Pyrenees were mist-filled and reaching up the 2400 meters mark was a event in itself. At each time, Adrian infused excitement in us, talking about the landscape, the cows and where Spain, France and Andorra start and end, and everything in between. Would any day love to do this trip again with Adrian. Mum loved his kindness and thoughtfulness, when he would rush to bring the car to pick her up from spots, when she was tired. While there is a bit of walking, I suggest that people who have slightly less mobility (my mum is 77 years old) can also do the trip, since it's curated in some aspects. Fantastic trip, fantastic guide, Adrian and a great agency to deal with, Barcelona-Y-Day Trips.

A fantastic day with Adrian! - When we were planning our trip to Portugal and Spain, and decided to take a day trip to Andorra, we did some online googling and found mainly 2 formats for doing such a trip; either by private driver or on a bus/van. Although the price of the private driver was significantly more, we decided to schedule the private driver. It was definitely worth it! I really think this trip to Andorra was the highlight of our vacation to Portugal and Spain. Adrian was a fantastic guide. His passion for this trip was obvious and you can tell that he has researched the area to provide a lot of information to the people who spend the day with him. There were multiple stops along the drive and also when we got into Andorra. At the end of the day, I felt like I had "visited" Andorra rather than just driving through it to say I had been there. Would 100% recommend this day trip to others. Additional bonuses were that Adrian's English was very good (way better than our Spanish or Catalan) and he was a good driver. At no time during the day was there nervousness when we were on the road. Although we were worried at the length of the trip (12 hours) the day went quickly. Overall, a fantastic day with Adrian!
