Highlights
  • Palace of Catalan Music - 7.00am - Your day begins when you arrive at our office, conveniently located across from the renowned Palau de la Musica. Your guide will be there to welcome you and provide an overview of the day’s itinerary.
  • Baga - 8.30am - Where else but in Europe can you visit three countries in one day? Three different nations, three unique atmospheres, stunning drives, and breathtaking scenery.

Depart from Barcelona at 7am, and enjoy the picturesque journey to Bagà. You’ll have the opportunity to admire the majestic rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixeró National Park as we drive to Bagà.

In Bagà, as this tranquil village awakens, you can grab a fresh pastry or sandwich from the local bakery, or a coffee from one of the many typical cafes, before rejoining your guide for a brief walking tour of the village. You’ll then have some free time to explore on your own.

From Bagà, we will venture further into the countryside as we head towards the French border.

  • Thermes d’Ax - 11.00am - Your next stop is the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes.

Your guide will suggest some of the best natural fountains to visit, including those ideal for soaking your feet. You’ll then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse local artisan shops for cheeses and cured meats, and find a souvenir to remember your visit. After exploring this typical French village, it’s time to choose a local restaurant for a traditional French lunch.

After a delightful French experience, you’ll meet back at the bus to head towards Andorra.

  • Pas de la Casa - 1.30pm - The route takes you through the stunning Pyrenees Alps to Andorra. Along the way, we’ll cross the Pas de la Casa, a remarkable high mountain pass offering fantastic photo opportunities.
  • Valle de Incles - 2.30pm - As we descend into Andorra, we’ll stop at a typical mountain valley where you can see how Andorra used to be. From here, we’ll head down the valleys into Andorra La Vella.
  • Andorra la Vella - 3.30pm - Andorra la Vella is the capital of the small but beautiful country of Andorra, nestled high in the eastern Pyrenees between France and Spain.

This will be our final stop of the day, but you’ll have enough time to do some duty-free shopping, snag a quick bargain, or stroll through its old stone streets and houses.

At around 3:45pm, we’ll return to the bus and head back to Barcelona via a different route.

This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past lush farmland, and alongside lakes and rivers. As the landscape levels out, the vibrant greens of the fields and the grey of the mountain rocks give way to the dusty orange and brown hues of the arid landscape.

We’ll stop en route to stretch our legs and quench our thirst before arriving back in town at around 7:30pm.

  • Ponts - 4.30-6.30pm - This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past lush farmland, and alongside lakes and rivers. As the landscape levels out, the vibrant greens of the fields and the grey of the mountain rocks give way to the dusty orange and brown hues of the arid landscape.

We’ll stop en route to stretch our legs and quench our thirst before arriving back in town at around 7:30pm.

  • Montserrat - 6.45pm - The final leg of the journey takes you past the dramatic scenery of Montserrat. This iconic mountain stands out against the skyline as we begin the last part of our drive into Barcelona.
  • Plaza de Catalunya - 7.30 - 7.45pm - We end the day in Plaça Catalunya. From here, you can easily take the metro or a taxi back to your hotel. Alternatively, your guide will be happy to recommend some dinner spots.

Amazing, chill and easy - The scene is amazing and the tour is nice with Xavi's humour along the way. It's good for short getaway and there is extra days on their trip in Barcelona.

Amazing tour! - Xavi is amazing 👏 My husband and I did the 3 countries in 1 day tour with him. Absolutely wonderful tour. He was very knowledgeable. He explained everything. He gave us free time at each location to look around and spend time where we wanted. I would recommend for everyone to experience this. I loved it! Thank you, Xavi! Pedro, our driver, was awesome as well. He got us there and back safely.

Best Value to Explore Catalonia - An incredible trip, and one I would HIGHLY recommend if you are visiting Barcelona and want a change of pace from the city. The trip provides amazing views of the Catalonian landscape and sufficient time to explore 3 places - a town each in Spain and France, and finally the country of Andorra. David was a wonderful guide who provided tons of history on Catalonia, and each location we visited. Jonathan was a great driver who gave us a safe and well paced experience when traveling to and from each location

Very good trip - There was a tremendous amount of time spent on the bus but the guides and drivers were outstanding. I would recommend eliminating the first stop, but again the service was outstanding. Thanks for the memories!

Our tour - The tour was too long and too “touristy” for what you got. The meeting point was sketchy at best. We got there early and a store owner came out and told us to come in his store because it was too dangerous to be standing outside. We liked the first part of the tour because the of the history. But, Andorra was a complete waste of time. I can shop anywhere. Sergio, our tour guide, was great, but the tour was just too long and lacking in substance for the price paid. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this tour. It sounded good at the time, but did d not come to fruition.

Check the box - Views were amazing ! Tour guide was informative and engaging with the passengers! Guide seemed to take into consideration the needs of each passenger. Bus driver was not so good. He passed cars on a blind curves and was very punchy with his braking. Tailgated most of the time, thus, hard punches to the brakes. He accelerated at the start of bends instead of accelerating once past the middle of the curves (which is the proper technique) This caused a lot of excess thrashing for the passengers. He was late for a pickup after a stop supposedly he was napping).

Tour needs a rework! - The tour starts very early in the morning in a back alley which is known for a great deal of crime, primarily pick pocketing. We were all told to be there very early, however no one from the tour agency showed up until 10 minutes before the tour was to leave. It was very dark at this time of morning which is very concerning! It does not feel safe in this area at all, in fact the owner of the neighborhood grocery told us to wait inside his store until the tour staff showed up. While the tour route is beautiful visually, the bus is very cramped with little to no leg room. Do not go if you are over 6 feet tall. Keep in mind also that this tour is 12 hours which is way too long for what you see. The town's you stop in are small and pretty but overall non-descript. There is very little explanation on their history. One country, Andorra, was a complete waste of time and basically there only for purpose of duty free shopping. The tour guide, while nice, needs to drop the word “yah” after almost every sentence. His command of English was only fair at best. Overall unless you really like mountain scenery, this tour is not for you!
