Walk among the Andes and the Condors - Andes Explorer should really get all 5 stars! The trip was well organized, Matias was a reliable communicator and Nicolas a fantastic guide: Immensely knowledgeable and obviously caring for the nature and outdoors, friendly and very much focused on tailoring the experience to my interests. Unfortunately the weather forced a change of location for our trip, and there, we did not have enough snow to actually need the snow shoes. As I was the only customer for the trip, we ended up with a fairly short hike and some time left over which Nicolas used to take me to a different place to search condors. We found them, soaring overhead, and I was able to add this unexpected experience to my trip. I would like to sign up again with Andes Explora for the actual snow shoe hike we had originally planned but were unable to complete... or any other of their offerings. I am sure it will be a 5-star experience. Both Nicolas and Matias speak perfect English, hotel pick-up was on-time, and the provided lunch was very good and included a few local snacks I later bought again to take home.
