Amazing Experience not to be missed! - I picked this tour as it had great reviews, and as such I wasn't disappointed! All the guides were very friendly and helpful. The prior communication was first class, and I was picked up from my accommodation on time. Perhaps the best aspect of this tour company is that they made sure we were one of the first groups to arrive at Mount Ijen and ultimately avoid the crowds whilst navigating the narrow track down to the grater lake. This meant we had an uninterrupted view of the Blue Fire.

Team Qim Qim!! - This was truly amazing. So beautiful. The hike was a little hard but our guides Qim Qim en Sule made this an unforgettable experience! They also made sure we were the first ones to start the hike so it's not too busy at the blue fire and you can enjoy it more.

“Thanks to Qim Qim & KiKi, I Made It!” - The trip to Mount Ijen was truly unforgettable! Thanks to the guidance, patience, and support of Qim Qim and KiKi, I was able to complete the hike that at first felt beyond my limits. They were always caring, encouraging, and attentive, making me feel safe and comfortable along the way. Because of them, I had the chance to witness the magical blue fire and the breathtaking turquoise crater lake. I’m so grateful to Qim Qim and KiKi – such wonderful guides – and I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone

Breathtaking - The experience was just perfect. From start to finish Qim Qim and his team are just great. Overflowing energy that makes you live a unique and breathtaking moment. We were the first on site before the arrival of a crazy crowd. Be careful to have a good physical condition, the path is technical for the descent to the crater.
In short, if there is a guide to take to Ijen, it is Qim Qim.

Unforgettable Ijen tour - We did the tour to Ijen with Java Expedition and were very lucky that our guide was Qim Qim. It was just mega! Unbelievable how he and his team have always kept track despite the crowds and ensured that no one from our group gets lost – we have always stayed together, albeit rectified. Everything was super organized! We thought it was very nice that they even carried hot tea to the mountain, which we could enjoy at sunrise on the crater. We didn't see that in any other group and it made the moment special for us. Plus, thanks to their perfect planning, we were among the first on the “blue river”, which made the experience even more unique.
Qim Qim is a highly motivated, fun and charming guide who leads the tour with a lot of humor, energy and passion. He makes you feel safe and well looked after at all times. In addition, his great willingness to help, whether during ascent, photography or with questions about the crater or the region.
For us it was an unforgettable experience and we can absolutely recommend Java Expedition – and especially Qim Qim! 🙌

Fantastic guides - Qim qim, Ron ton qnd Qi qi are fantastic! They made us climb and arrive before everyone so that we could enjoy the blue fire as much as possible. Their energy is also communicative, which is helpful when you are hiking at 3am.

Very nice experience with Qim Qim from Java expeditions - Qim Qim from Java Expeditions is the best guide! Very professional, enthusiastic and passionate about his job. He will make sure everyone is safe, and you'll also be the first one to get to the bottom of the crater. The volcano itself is stunning! Thank you Qim Qim, we had a great time!

Great Ij EN trip led by Qim Qim and his team - Super EN enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide team under DE leadership of Qim Qim has given us an unforgettable experience on the Ijen. It's super crowded, but Qim Qim makes sure you're the first group to leave EN reach the blue fire in DE crater first EN you have a unique experience despite DE crowds that follow. DE views are phenomenal, both on DE crater and towards the sea with DE rising sun. A spirited wan DEling but under the motivational direction of the guide team to do well. Collection EN, safety equipment (gas mask and goggles), fresh tea DE ns the sunrise EN drop off are all perfectly taken care of!

Unforgettable experience with the best guide ever - Qim Qim is the best guide ever! he was super cheerful and professional. Everybody knows him at the volcan. We were the first group (20 people among >5000 people in total) getting to the blue fire! It was an unforgettable experience. Very recommended!
