Such an amazing... - Such an amazing experience! One I will remember for a lifetime! We were the first to the blue flame. I loved Qim Qim’s energy! He was such a delight. Ron Ron was also amazing and very helpful. They run the tour like a well oiled machine. You won’t regret booking this tour!

Best guide to go to Ijen - Our guide was QimQim and actually the best guide we could have had. Upon arriving in Ijen he gave us an extended explanation of everything we were going to do. And at all times he tells you what it is and without fuss and does not try to adorn anything. He always explains the risks of everything and also going down to the blue fire we could see that we were the most prepared and that the guides cared more about our safety. Also, QimQim at the whole time of tour goes with you waits for you and is always checking that everyone is okay and goes with the last. Also when we climbed to the top to see the lake from above QimQim gave us hot tea which was thanked a lot. Also on the descent invited us to Milo hot. Also on the return trip he put us the music we wanted and even taught us music in Spanish that he liked. Overall it was an impressive once in a lifetime experience with the best guide we could have had. Thank you so much for everything QimQim, you are the best and a great.

Epic tour - Literally the best ijen tour you can do. Kim Kim gets you there first at the blue fire and actually looks after you! Ron Ron his side kick is also a legend! 100% recommend

Ijen, unique in the world - What a unique experience, we had a fantastic day and saw the blue fire in the crater, beautiful view of the volcano at sunrise. It is quite a hard walk and having a good condition is important. Our guide qim qim and his team made sure with their positive energy that we experienced the day very well. Tip: Bring some for the miners something from a candy bar, or a small donation that they appreciate. Don't forget to give your guide a tip, they deserve it!

Highly recommend this crew - The team were so good with communication right from the start of our booking. They explained everything to us so we knew what to expect. A fantastic crew working with Qim Qim. They were there all of the way helping and supporting us. The knowledge and enthusiasm from Qim Qim was fantastic and safety was always their #1 priority. Plus we were first to the Blue Fire which was such a great experience. Highly recommend this trip. 🫶🏻

A truly once in a... - A truly once in a lifetime experience, made even better by our amazing, crazy and informative guide, Qim Qim!!
The hike takes some determination to complete but the blue flame, acid lake, seeing the miners ply their trade, and all the brilliant sights/views along the way make it more than worth the effort!
If you want a truly unforgettable tour of Ijen, try to go with Qim Qim - his energy is one of a kind!

Be prepared mentally and physically before hiking. - Amazing experience throughout the journey from bottom to the crater of Ijen. First time experience blue fire. The smoke really dangerous and not good for unhealthy people. The smoke make your eyes and nose watery. If anyone really want to hike into Ijen crater my strongly advice is to bring your own face mask and goggles. Rental face mask is not really help because it's have been used for many times. The seal may not really work. The poison smoke still can penetrate into your rental face mask. Invest a good face mask and bring your own. Don't forget to bring along googles to protect your eyes. Highly recommended. Even swimming google is good enough.
Once arrived the peak and going down to the craters, please do not rush and cut the queue. Everyone will arrived at the crater but just don't rush. Respect others too.
If you really can't walk and need a help from the local people, there is a cart can be hired and push by local people. Just don't negotiate the price because it's not easy to push and pull a man in the cart going up to the peak. Just pay and enjoy the ride.
