Climb a volcano at 2 am? - Jericho was our local trekking guide, and he took incredible care of us throughout the entire volcano hike. As an added bonus, he’s an amazing photographer and such a kind, funny person. This was definitely not an easy hike, but it was incredibly rewarding. We started in the dark wearing headlamps and made our way up with many other travelers. We went on a weekend, so it was quite crowded with international visitors from Europe, the U.S., and local groups. Be prepared for a different hiking etiquette — some groups move quickly and closely, so it can feel a bit hectic at times. The sunrise at the top was absolutely spectacular. Our guide spoke excellent English and helped us every step of the way, including serving breakfast and coffee at the summit. Also — watch out for the motorbikes! If you’re active and adventurous, this may be one of the coolest experiences you can have in Bali. It completely blew our minds. Loved every minute of it!

GO ON THIS HIKE with this group - It was amazing. SAN the hike guide was so friendly and professional. He even helped me pick the best spots for the best photos. The driver to the mountain and back was great too it’s a nice size car so you can rest and relax before and after the climb. Fully recommend.

Decent experience! - The Mount Batur sunrise trek was an amazing experience. Our driver Hendra picked us up early and shared helpful tips. Reaching the summit in time for the breathtaking sunrise over the crater and lake made the effort worthwhile. We enjoyed a simple breakfast while taking in the views. Our guide Jąder was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured our safety on the descent. Highly recommended for a memorable and well-organized adventure.

Great guided trekking tour - Great experience as a solo traveller, punctual and professional team from the driver to the mountain guide. The sunrise was exceptional, highly recommend giving it an go! The driver even took me via an organic coffee farm visit near Ubud on the way back.

Superb sunrise experience from Mount Batur - Great experience!! Our driver Subrata was lovely, driving very smoothly and reassuringly (which is Our guide Ari was also super friendly and adapted to our pace for the climb. Thank you for this moment on Mount Batur!! We recommend with your eyes closed :)

Best Mount Batur sunrise experience! - Such a fun experience! Worth every minute hiking up. Our driver Subrata was so amazing getting us from one place to another and telling us lots about Bali on the way. And our mountain guide also very friendly and helped us up the summit. Would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to do Mt Batur!

The highlight of any Bali trip - This was an amazing experience and a must do during a visit to Bali. Bim was an amazing driver and really helped in making it an easy and enjoyable experience. Ask for Kautu as your guide to the top, he made the long hike up and down go by so fast with great conversation and facts about the mountain.

Must do experience! - This trip is amazing! The walk is very do-able and the view at the top is really beautiful! While walking back you could see more of the area in the daylight which is very nice to see as well. Both our driver (Subrata) and guide (Komang) live close to the mountain and could tell us a lot about the area and island which was also really cool. We would certainly recommend the trip!

This was not an easy... - This was not an easy hike. Took about 1.5 hours to hike up, 1 hour to hike back down. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but the entire experience was still memorable!
