Impressed by the Reclining Buddha - This was a very unique temple and Buddha statue to visit. The reclining buddha is massive and takes up pretty much the whole temple. It was very crowded but still worth seeing, and there are other areas to walk around in as well.

Includes Driver - This was handy in the fact that the ticket included a pickup at the hotel and a drive to the temple itself. Please note that with this ticket they have to pick you up at your hotel, this is not just an entrance ticket.

Fantastic cultural experience - This is a beautiful location filled with history and culture. Getting in is easy and well arranged, with multiple entries making it smooth and quick. This also spreads the visitors out around the compound making it appear not busy, and resulting in virtually no queues. You are left to your own devices to explore and view the amazing buildings and various information on display. There are one or two cafes, and souvenir shops which add to the experience but are small enough to not make it feel like a cash cow. The queue and process to see the reclining Buddha is easy, and the line moves at a good speed. With plenty of photo opportunities to see this magnificent monument. I highly recommend this experience!

An excellent visit to the Reclining Buddha - An excellent visit to the Reclining Buddha. I would recommend allowing at least 2 hours for this once you enter the grounds, additional to the travel time to get there (Bangkok is in constant traffic jam). The temples and area are beautiful to admire and take in. The Buddha himself is exquisite.

Soak in the culture in Wat Pho - It is a 20 acre complex that will take at least a half day to tour. The grand vista is the over 100 ft long golden reclining Buddha. He is massive in size and grandeur. Well worth the 400 baht foreign entrance fee. Bring your umbrellas personal fans and sunblock because it will be hot. It will also be crowded espy at the temples of which there are many at the complex. You can see the Hindu influences in the Buddhist statues that are in some of the temples.

OK as an add on to your day. - We incorporated this with our trip yo The Grand Palace as its literally next to each other. A lovely space to contemplate if you need to, lots and lots of Buddhas and temples where you may want to take a moment. The reclined Buddha is something to behold if you are into that sort of thing. Cost 300BHT £6.80 pp.
