The best canal tour of Bangkok - We had an unforgettable private longtail boat tour through the canals of Bangkok with our amazing guide, Watchira, and our skilled, friendly and SAFE car driver. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, relaxing, and full of insight.
Watchira was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area, but also warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. He made the tour feel personal and tailored to our interests, pointing out hidden gems we never would’ve discovered on our own. His English was excellent, and his stories truly brought the city to life.
The boat driver navigated the canals with ease and a smile, giving us a smooth ride and helping us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. The boat itself was clean, well-maintained, and allowed for perfect views of local life along the waterways.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bangkok, and we can’t recommend Watchira and the tour team highly enough. If you’re considering a canal tour—this is the one to book!

Interesting and just the right amount of time spent on the trip - Collection to and from the hotel was superb. On time and the taxi was immaculate with bottled water available. Boat trip was really interesting and was a good introduction to see how some people live next to the canals.
We followed the canal trip with a visit to the temple, which was fascinating. The detail and information was impressive.
Khun Aey was a nice guide. She speaks better English than we speak Thai so we did appreciate this.

Bang for the Buck - The trip was organized very well. Pick-up from Hotel and back. The longtail boat trip around old bangkok are was very nice. Been to Bangkok many times but never seen this side. Our tour guide Kit was super polite and told us lots of unheard history of the Tempels and Castles. Truely 10/10 Guide! Will recomened to take this trip if you want a private boat tour and have a little extra to pay it. Well worth the money.

Boat ride not long enough - Very kind guide and a nice trip.
The title of the trip is long tail boat tour however the boat ride only took 1 hour out of the 4 hours which is disapointing

Guide was very kind - The flower market and Wat Arun were lovely. Couldn’t really see much of the Royal
Palace from the boat.
The guide was a nice kind person who was very accommodating of my elderly mother. The guide’s kindness raised my review from 3 to 4 stars.
The van was comfortable.
The tour was not as good other private tours I have booked through Viator in the past in Europe.

Disappointed - Canals are dirty littered wth construction pillar. Place looks like got hit by an Israili raid.
The floating market is gone and so are the reasons for doing this

Waterboat tour not as advertised - Waterboat was less than 1 hour. Whole tour was 2 hours. Not worth the money. The tour guide was not knowledgeable. Her only aim was to take pictures of us completing activities.
