The tour to book! - Be ready to spend a full day out of the city. The experiences are diverse and make for an amazing day. This tour goes beyond what others offer and if you are only considering one tour, this is the one to take. Ken, our guide is knowledgeable, has everything arranged to a “T”, and will make any changes to the plan should you so request/require. Highly recommend this experience.

A day not to forget - Ken our guide provided us with an experience that we will never forget visiting Hellfire Pass and the Bridge over the river Kwai. Plus the Commonwealth Cemetery in Kanchanaburi. His knowledge was impressive and we also thought our driver on the tour was great too.

Remembrance and Respect - First thing to understand is that it is a full day tour with 6 hours travel time. Visiting each of the sites and discovering the history clearly brings home the bravery and suffering of the people involved; Australian, Dutch, English and American POW,s a like but never forgetting the Asian workers who suffered equally. An amazing tour that invokes emotion and pride.

Not recommended for those without attachment to the history. - A very involving trip. Took a whole day starting 7 am back to Bangkok at 7.30 pm. Best for travelers impacted by the second world war, somehow. I chose the trip because of its historical fame. Not least because i watched the film. Very happy that I reached the famous location - travelled nearly 10,000 km! My travel bug I suppose. Great guide in Ken. He was knowledgeable and articulate. Very pleasant person too. He was accompanied by a trainee, Reuben and driver. A great support team for us. Ken did most of the talking but occasionally we chipped in sharing home stories etc. Be prepared for the long drive. There were drinks in the van. A good lunch when we got there and good organization to help us see all the highlights. Not for those looking for thrills.
