Best private tour and tour guide - Laem Chabang was an overnight cruise stop on our recent SE Asia cruise, but the main attraction (Bangkok) is about 2 hours away. To make best use of our time ashore, I contacted Thai Tour Guide since I’d recently read a really good review on them from a fellow cruiser. Mr Chob was quick to respond and outlined a 2 day itinerary that I could customize if I wanted to. No upfront deposit required - payment due in TBT after the excursion. Just prior to leaving for the cruise, both Mr Chob and our assigned guide - Ms Joy, reached out to confirm our arrangements. We had no problems connecting with Ms Joy on our first day as she was front and center among the crowd of tour guides and drivers that greeted the ship passengers at Laem Chabang terminal with my name on a sign. What a relief not to have to hunt for her as we’ve had to do for our guides at other ports. Ms Joy was truly a joy to be with on our 2 days in Bangkok. While day 1 was wonderful, day 2 at the railway market and the floating market were the highlights. Ms Joy was able to add a ride on the actual train and we rode it for about 5 stops before getting off at the railway market. That was truly a treat as we got to experience the market/train from both onboard the train and from the railway tracks in the market. Ms Joy is also a wonderful photographer and took many beautiful pictures for us. Although I have some physical limitations, with her kindness and perception, Ms Joy was able to tailor the 2 day tours to perfectly suit my abilities and encouraged me to experience everything. The driver was also really good and always found a way to drop off and picked us up at each site with minimum walking for me. We have used private guides/drivers all over the world for years - I can honestly say Ms Joy is one of the very best. Thank you, Mr Chob (Thai Tour Guide) for assigning her to us!

Very hot but perfect day with the perfect guide - Our guide was Ms. Aom, aka Mary Poppins! She carried this little purse that contained way more than it appeared to be able to hold! If we needed it, it appeared from her purse! Napkins, new tube of menthol to help with the oppressive heat... you name it and it appeared from that purse of hers. She loves the history and enjoyed talking with my husband about what we were seeing and she got so excited when he made the links between Thailand history and what we had seen earlier in India. Always smiling and pointing out perfect photo locations. My husband needed to rest occasionally and she was expert at finding a spot in the shade for a minute or two of rest. So responsive to our needs. The driver was always right on time to pick us up with cold water and cold cloths. It was a perfect day despite of the heat. I highly recommend this company. Very professional all the way!

Bangkok - travel as a local - was a great guide, very knowledgeable We had an amazing tour with Mr. George! His deep knowledge of history and local stories brought the city to life. He was friendly, patient, and even gave us great restaurant recommendations. The pacing was perfect, and he answered all our questions with enthusiasm. Highly recommend Mr CHOB’s tours - Our guide Pu was excellent. She arrived early at the port and reminded us when we all came out in shorts that we needed trousers for the Grand Palace! The drive in is 2 hours in a car but longer if you do this tour as a group on a coach so well worth paying the extra for a private tour. The Grand Palace was absolutely incredible and the canal longboat tour very enjoyable. I would recommend Mr CHOB and his team. They responded quickly to emails, sent clear instructions regarding where to meet and payment and at all times were efficient and professional.

Great One-Day tour of Bangkok - If you're stopping in Thailand on a cruise, I can't recommend this Bangkok tour with Mr. Chob enough. It's the perfect and efficient way to experience Bangkok. I chose the one-day tour as we planned on going to Pattaya on our own. Our guide, Ms. Pu, was waiting for us at the port entrance and welcomed us with the fruits from her parents' garden and cold water. Pu was friendly and knowledgeable, always making sure we were comfortable and having a good time. From start to finish, everything was well-planned and enjoyable. The tour was well-paced, with enough time to see everything without feeling rushed. You can't go wrong with this company! Hightly recommend!

Mr. George was an outstanding guide - We are a family of 5 with 3 kids ages 7-11. We spent 2 days in Bangkok and a tour of Ayutthaya with Mr. George as our tour guide. It was an amazing 2 days, and Mr. George was an outstanding guide! He was knowledgeable, fun, accommodating with the schedule to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see, and overall just a great guide. We did SO much, but it never seemed stressful even amongst the traffic and crowds. He was so organized it all just flowed seamlessly from one thing to the next. And he was great with the kids, even getting them little local gifts and snacks each day. I highly recommend Mr. George! If you have the opportunity to book a tour with him, don’t hesitate to do so! If we are lucky enough to go back we will definitely book tours with him again.

Excellent Two-day Shore Excursion Private Tour of Bangkok and Ayutthya - Our cruise had an overnight stop in Bangkok (Laem Chabang Port) and we spent our two days guided by Mr. George. Our first day was the "The Royal Grand Palace + The Royal Temple + City + Temple" tour. The second day was the "UNESCO Ayutthaya" tour. Our initial inquiry to Mr Chob at Thai Tour Guide was answered promptly and booking was easy to complete. Prior to our tour we were introduced to Mr. George and provided contact info. Mr George and his driver met us at the port, and returned us two days later, we were in their excellent care to see the sights of Bangkok and Ayutthaya. We saw the sights described on the website, but Mr. George rearranged the order based on crowds and the drivers recommendations of traffic conditions. Lunch was extra and Mr George gave a range of options, International corporate to where he would eat. We went local and had Mr George order a variety of traditional dishes. The days were fully packed with amazing sights and we never felt rushed. Overnight hotel was on our own and Mr George and his driver gave us door to door service. Overall a great way for us to experience Thailand for the first time.

Wonderful Overview of Bangkok - Mr. George was waiting for us as we left the terminal. We had a great day exploring the city. At the palace he knew all the hidden spots to get the best shots!

Great Bangkok Overview - Tai did a great job showing us the highlights of Bangkok. It was very hot when we toured and she guided us to the shade whenever possible. She took us to a great non touristy restaurant for lunch which was packed with local people. All in all it was a great day
