A Must-Do Bangkok Adventure - We had an amazing time on the Chinatown, Flower Market & Turtle Feeding tour. As a family of five with three teenagers, it was a fun and unique way to explore Bangkok.
The ride was safe, easy and enjoyable, taking us through historic parts of the city, including a visit to the largest indoor Buddha. Feeding the turtles and wandering through the flower market were highlights.
Sugar was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge and clearly passionate about Bangkok.

Fun and great service in Bangkok! - Forget the Big Names – This is the Best Personal Bike Tour in Bangkok!
After experiencing several bike tours with the well-known companies in Bangkok, I decided to try something different this time and booked with Follow Me Bike Tours. It was the best decision I could have made!
Seamless Experience
From the start, the booking process via their clear and user-friendly website was a breeze. But the real magic started when we met our guide, Sugar.
Sugar: The Ultimate Guide
Sugar is not just a guide; he is a fountain of knowledge with a fantastic sense of humor. He even knows quite a few Dutch words, which added a very personal and fun touch to the trip. His passion for the city and its people is infectious.
The Route: Hotspots & Hidden Gems
While we visited the must-see spots like Chinatown and the vibrant Flower Market, Sugar also led us through tiny alleys and stunning temples that I had never seen before—even after multiple trips to Bangkok. He teaches you about the local customs and daily life in a way that feels authentic and deeply insightful.
Personal Service Over Mass Tourism
The absolute highlight for me was the small group size. Unlike other tours where you cycle in a "snake" of 10 or more people, we were in a group of only two(!). This felt like a VIP service. The personal attention, the pace, and the overall care were top-notch. Even the food and drinks provided along the way were perfectly arranged and delicious.
Verdict

Highly recommended!! - The bike ride was great despite high temperatures. The guide Sugar showed us many small authentic corners of Bangkok and we had a lot of fun. Thanks, Sugar. Also for all the beautiful photos and the fantastic food. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Great way to see the less commercial side of Bangkok with an excellent guide- markets, temples & river views! - My family of 5 (3 teenagers) really enjoyed our half-day guided cycle ride round the back streets of Bangkok. We cycled through narrow alleys and residential areas, visited a couple of Buddhist temples, stopped a few times in market areas, sampled Thai sweet snacks & enjoyed a cold drink near Santa Cruz church in the Portuguese area. We all agreed it was a great experience made memorable by our guide Mai who answered our numerous questions. Please note, We are all cyclists which helped- inexperienced visitors may find the narrow alleys a challenge as well as getting your bike in & off the ferry.

Great bike tour through the back alleys of Bangkok - Had a great time. Great way to sight see. Guide was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Hot and humid, though broke up the riding with walking around d cultural sites. Would recommend.

Highlight of our time in Bangkok. - Highlight of our time in Bangkok. Despite the hustle and bustle of Bangkok we were able to find quite back lanes in old Chinatown to ride along. Tea, our guide was excellent. He is clearly passionate about the city. Thank you.

Fantastic bike tour - Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. He spoke excellent English and explained everything. The tour was very interesting and visited some less well known areas of Bangkok as well as the more popular sites. We had a fantastic afternoon.

Disappointing tour - Disappointing tour. Thee was the guide but was more of a bike ride leader, not a guide. We stopped at sites and he didn’t tell us anything about the sites unless asked. We fed the turtles and he gave us 15 minutes to do so and told us no information about the temple where we stopped. Just gave us papaya and left. We biked past the Grand Palace and he didnt give us any info. China town he didn’t proactively say anything, although answered questions if asked. Our food break and beverages was quite inconsiderate. He asked about food allergies and two people — out of 5, small group — didn’t eat pork but he brought a big plate of port satays to the table. And two pieces of mango for five people. And papaya. And he didn’t ask for our drink choices — just handed out bottled water. Someone asked him to get food the whole group could eat but he didn’t. Instead he came back with a huge bowl of noodle soup for himself, sat down in the middle of the table and ate what I suppose his lunch. It was inconsiderate and off putting. During the ride one person’s chain fell off but he was so far ahead he didn’t know. Our reason for signing up was to get an introduction to Bangkok culture and sites and the tour really failed. Have done this type of tour in other cities and they were a thousand times better. At the end of the tour back at the hostel all five of us sat down to chat and he left. He didn’t ask if we have questions or need any restaurant suggestions. Two stars and not 1 because the five of us had a great conversation for 45 minutes after he left and the bikes were good.
