Amazing memorable experience - 0650 hotel pickup, with a light breakfast waiting for us at the docks 80 min speedboat to/from Surin Islands but a fantastic experience awaits. An amazing and an attentive guide (ours was Moana) and her colleagues and boat crew, with safety first and foremost. 1st stop 40min snorkling, then to Moken (sea gypsy)village. Nice lunch and chill time. Then onto two further snorkling sites for 40mins each and then return back to the mainland. Snorking was fabulous in clear blue waters with various coral and fish...saw my first ever clownfish on the second dive. Water, snacks and fruit provided on the boat and then a dinner on return. A truly memorable experience, with some wonderful staff. Seastar are an amazing company and would truly recommend them

Fantastic experience - After the short drive from our hotel we were greeted with breakfast and drinks, hot and cold. We were checked in and the tour operates in a wristband system - we were blue team. It’s very busy at the pier so this was a great way to identify your fellow passengers and guides. We were sized up for flippers, and given the option of prescription googles which was an excellent touch. There were free sea sickness pills which I advise to take as the speed boat is bumpy. The safety briefing was excellent, informative and funny. We were given fruit, biscuits and drinks all day. Nothing was too much trouble for the crew. I’d advise to take little with you and definitely a wet bag. Plenty of sun cream and nothing that you don’t mind getting wet. The moken tribe visit was awesome - take some small bhat notes for trinkets and souvenirs. The lunch on the island was good - we opted for a vegetarian option and had egg fried rice, salad and tofu made for us which was delicious. We saw flying lemurs on the island and it really was a tropical paradise! The snorkelling……simply amazing! There were 3 x 45 min stops in amazing reefs. Crystal clear water and in some parts no more than 2 metres from the coral. We saw clown fish, huge parrot fish, butterfly fish - a huge moray eel! As we boarded the boat we saw a turtle pop up for air. I was very surprised by the sheer number of fish - in the thousands - the marine life is abundant and thriving. A trip of a lifetime not to be missed.

A great day - Had a wonderful day trip with you today on 04.02. Very well organized. In the morning there were a bit of waiting times at the assembly point in the port. But which you like to accept with a super breakfast. During the day there were always snacks and drinks on the boat (coke and water) which was great. Very friendly and cheerful guides rounded it all off. Also the snorkeling equipment was top. I didn't know about the Seperate mouthpiece on the snorkel before. Super hygienic. Also the service with the anti-fog agent, was great. Always clear view. Lunch top, dinner in port top again. Dan the one with the already framed pictures. I liked it too. Will definitely do a tour with you again. I can only recommend this tour. Thank you for a nice day. Greetings from Austria

Surin / snorkelling / fun in the sun - I hope the tour companies would contribute to the gypsy upkeep to maintain the toilet facilities. They were unusable. I’m sure the gypsy village would maintain the facility for a small fee therefor a win win for the village and the tour company’s customers. That said from start to finish we were not disappointed what a fabulous day out We used a private tour guide who organised the trip for us and it was run like clockwork. Jay jay and her team who were with us throughout the journey were fantastic , we would not hesitate to book again and thank you to all involved . Regards Tony and Kathy (59)

Well organised day trip with Seastar - Extremely well organised day trip from start to finish to the Surin Islands. The boat trip is 1hr 20mins each way and can be a bit rough even in the good conditions that were ours. The sea sickness pills they supply are highly recommended as there were moments of need let’s say. I probably wouldn’t recommend going if the weather is not serene or if you are scared of the sea. Once there the locations are very beautiful; 3 different ones snorkeling off the back of the boat, 1 visiting the Morkan people and their market, and I lunch stop with a beautiful beach relax afterwards. The lunch was very nice sitting at long tables under the trees. The team were fun, very helpful informative & fun…this is a highly recommended trip.

Very small boat - Let’s just say if you can get over the very small boat crowded with people then you will be treated to some excellent snorkelling The fish and corals are amazing and we had three different snorkelling stop offs. Takes ages to get off the boat due to high number of people especially if you are at the front of the boat Price included breakfast which was toast and sausage, lunch buffet which was mainly chicken and snack when you returned back to mainland again mainly chicken. So not great for vegetarians.

Manageable. - Orga, food and drink were perfect. But, the snorkeling spots were more or less the same. Only 2 instead of 3. No guide has moved into the water.
