At the summit, take in breathtaking panoramic views of six mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the picturesque town of Banff. Continue along the boardwalk to visit the Cosmic Ray Station, a National Historic Site of Canada, and Sanson’s Peak, where you can explore the rich history of Canada’s first national park. (Choice of Banff Gondola or Upper Hot Springs/Gondola ticket not included)
- Cave and Basin National Historic Site - An alternative to Hot Springs from September 2 until the end of December (Choose either Banff Gondola or Cave Basin, ticket not included.)
- Banff Upper Hot Springs - Choose either Banff Gondola or Hot Springs, ticket not included. (Closed from September 2 until the end of December for maintenance. The alternative will be Cave and Basin National Historic Site.) Entry to the Banff Upper Hot Springs is on a first-come, first-served basis, with tickets available for purchase at the reception. Your admission fee includes a locker token, and swimsuits and towels can be rented onsite.

- Surprise Corner - Surprise Corner offers a beautiful view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the scenic Spray Valley. It’s an ideal spot for taking photos and enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
- Banff Avenue - (Lunch stop at your expense) Discover Banff Avenue’s shops and galleries, savor local cuisine, shop for souvenirs, and relax in the surrounding natural beauty with breathtaking towering peaks.
- Johnston Canyon - Renowned for its stunning waterfalls and beautiful hiking trails. As you walk through the canyon, you’ll be surrounded by towering cliffs and lush greenery. The trail takes you past several beautiful waterfalls, including the Lower Falls and Upper Falls, which cascade into turquoise pools below. It may be replaced by Marble Canyon in winter.
- Two Jack Lake - Known for its clear blue waters and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
- Lake Minnewanka - Lake Minnewanka, just fifteen minutes from Banff town, is surrounded by majestic mountains. Known as “Lake of the Spirits” by the indigenous Stoney Nakoda First Nations. Walking along the easy trail or boating on the lake are excellent activities in the area. In winter, it transforms into a stunning ice skating rink, often featuring fascinating ice bubbles formed by trapped methane gas.
