Amazing tour - This trip was AMAZING!! The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. It was only a small tour group and the places we visited were fairly quiet. The best bits are the long boat rides and swim in the beautiful green sea. I would take this trip again.

A 'Don't Miss' adventure! - This was an amazing day. From the pre tour communications, the pick up from our hotel in Khao Lok until our return everything about this tour was perfect! Our guide (Singa) was friendly and a excellent host; the transport very comfortable and the sights amazing. Our first stop was a swim and canoe in the crystal clear creek followed by the highlight of the day - a longboat ride, relaxing swim then lunch at Cheow Lan Lake. After lunch we visited Prakai Petch Cave and then headed back to our transport for the return journey to our hotel. This is an amazing place and a "must visit' destination. Apart from the sights the day was made great thanks to the well organised and professionally managed tour.

Bucket list item- lived up to the hype! - OMG! This was the best tour we have ever done. Our tour operator, Oil, was so incredible friendly and knowledgable. She was more than happy to answer questions and was so lovely towards us all. We felt safe and looked after all day. We visited the a crystal clear creek, the jewel swimming pool, choew larn lake lookout and then cheow larn lake and a cave. Our favourite parts were the jewel pool and cheow larn lake. We had lunch on a floating restaurant, which was delicious. We had fried fish, cocunut milk and chicken soup, thai green chicken. There was a vegetarian in our tour and so we also had omlette and sweet and sour vegetables. We took some snacks for our picky eater daughter, however the lunch included steamed rice so she mostly ate this. After unch we had an hour to swim near the restaurant or go for a paddle in the kayaks. The driver was careful and empathetic towards our son who gets car sick. I would suggest taking a pair of sneakers with you for the cave walk as there was a very muddy entrance and the cave itself went between being slippery with mud and then dust. We had plenty of water provided throughout the day, and also got a coke while we were on the boat. Defintely take sunscreen, you will need it. We got changed at the jewel swimming pool in the toilets, but we could have just worn our bathers all day. If i did this again I would just wear bathers with a dress over the top all day. Good one day trip from khao lak - Tour is very professionally planned and executed. Our guide Perry (pseudo name) was terrific. She made the trip interesting and informative. We were worried due to the weather. It rained heavily throughout our ride towards first attraction - emerald pool , but we were lucky as rain paused and then almost disappeared for rest of the trip. We enjoyed canoeing, long tail boat, the cave, lunch and taking a dip in lake. Go for the trip without any hesitation.

A day touring paradise - We were collected from our hotel on time. Our guide Peri was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about the local area. It was an early start, but we really got the benefit of arriving at the first stop before anyone else. The canoeing experience initially looked like a tourist trap, but because we got there early and had the place to ourselves, it was amazing. We wanted to just keep paddling and explore further, it was like something from a movie. The longtail boat part on the lake was amazing with breathtaking scenery. A great day out!! Thank you Peri

Breathtaking scenery! - The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! Our guide, Garfield, looked after us very well. Plenty of cold drinks, good commentary and variety of activities. The boat ride was atmospheric and it was great to get a cool breeze...it was such a hot day. The cave was average and not easy to access. A lot could be done to it to make it a really interesting attraction. The lunch was good but the opportunity to swim a little disappointing. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. You have to see the lake and its limestone formations to believe it!

Absolutely stunning scenery - well worth going to visit - Beautiful scenery, unbelievable settings, great value trip with such a helpful, caring guide - Ching. She was really knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to make sure all of the people on the trip had a great time.

Beware! Stay away from this rogue online operator ( oh hoo) - Beware! I would not recommend booking online for this trip with oh- hoo. It is more expensive than with the travel agency my hotel paired with ( x10 hotel) and more expensive than private tours quotes. I booked online making the mistake of assuming I was paying in Aussie dollars . Got instant receipt and realised it was in US dollars , so much more expensive than I thought. I immediately got hotel staff to call the tour agency ( within 5 minutes of booking) to advise my error and wanted to cancel. When you book it says you can cancel 24 hours before. A staff from the tour agency oh hoo agreed to cancel and refund me. Then another person ( her manager) called me back and from first moment was yelling at me that I cannot cancel, telling me I should have realised how expensive it was before booking. She was rude and screaming. I told her TripAdvisor says I can cancel 24 hours prior. She continued to yell and tell me off. I got the hotel staff to talk to her but the hotel staff ( after a fiery conversation with the tour agency manager) told me the manager won’t budge. I advised I just booked 5 min ago and Tripadvisor says I can book 24 hours before. And the first person we dealt with had already agreed to cancel and refund me. The manager advised they can never cancel for any reason. They don’t accept any reason for cancellation ever..so that manager goes against what Tripadvisor says. And she was a loud mouthed person with no people skills, no logic, just screaming they don’t accept any cancellation reason. Given they charged more that the hotel offered trips, I would say save your money and book through your hotel or through recommendations. I ended up paying more than what the most expensive private tour quote I got from about 5 operators. I had asked for quotes but wanted the trip on a particular day so I thought I would book online. Rogue operator whose manager says they don’t accept cancellations ever, even if TripAdvisor says you can. I could not reason with her, neither could the Thai speaking hotel staff who tried to help me the oh hoo manager told me she was sending a driver at 6.45 am anyway.
