Easy time at Hard Rock - This was a four star experience which the server (Alicea - not sure how she spells it) made into a five star. The food was better than excepted, which helped it not feel like a poor value. The fries and burgers were good. The decor is what you'd expect from this chain. Service was average timing-wise, but our server was fantastic. Easy walk from the Aquarium.

Focused on Rock, Not Short on Charm - We stopped here after a trip to the aquarium when it became clear that the kids were getting hangry. Our server Josh was patient, attentive and even managed to convince my kids to take a couple of extra bites of their meals. The smoked old fashioned that we ordered was a highlight of our trip- props to whoever was working the bar! I also have to shout out the Buffalo Chicken sandwich- it was crispy and soaked in sauce that made your lips tingle. It's hard to get a delicious buffalo sauce where we live! My daughter also noted that the french fries were "very special." (She was also impressed by the fancy bathroom!) The a/c was heavenly on a warm day, and the decor prompted some fun discussions with the kids about Tom Petty, Elton John, and Chris Daughtry (to name a few!).

Great server - I had an amazing time with my family. My server Dante was actually one of the best servers I've had...EVER! I typically order the same items at every restaurant. He got me to try something different (This never happens). The loaded tots might be my favorite food of all time now. Thank You Dante :)

TOP NOTCHED STAFF - Our group recently visited Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore with our Maryland East Coast USA Pageant queens that ranged from 2 years to adults and had an incredible experience! The atmosphere and setting was perfect for our event. Let me rave about the service... it was impeccable. I want to personally recognize the following individuals: Watressess Desiree, Alisha and Milan; Hostesses: Ashley and Liyah, Bussers: Nick and Jamie and Managers Deborah and Steven. We felt right t home and was able to celebrate and create lasting memories. We ate, laughed and was greatly cared for during our visit. Thank you again to the staff who took great care of us. You are a top notched staff. Shirah ECUSA MARYLAND PAGEANT COORDINATOR

pro con advice about our walk through "visit" - PROS * Good restaurant * Good downtown and central Inner Harbor location * Good set up of the place- nice arrangement * Nice atmosphere of the “place” * Good music * Part of a larger international chain of restaurants * Rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia, festooned on the walls CONS * It can be large and noisy and crowded “I VISITED THIS PLACE”… … in the early afternoon of a freezing cold day. We wandered along all the walls and looked at and photographed all the memorabilia (in order to post it here on TripAdvisor). Then we used the “facilities” and we left. . WAS IT WORTH THE COST? I don’t know; we didn’t eat there WOULD “I VISIT THIS PLACE” AGAIN? No ADVCE It sure seems like a good and fun place to visit

Pricy food, overly friendly waiter and just not worth it. - Pricy food for starters. But what tipped the scale was our obnoxiously over friendly waiter! The “creep” factor played a lot into our enjoyment, or lack their of. With all the restaurants in the area, I’d look elsewhere for lunch of dinner. Period.

Bottom line: so disappointing. - After a trip to the Aquarium, this seemed the best stop with kids. But I sure was wrong. It took over 30 minutes to get our food after ordering for the kids to get their food, then the kids were done eating by the time the adults got their food. Not to mention a lemonade itself took 10 minutes to receive. The food was overpriced, which can usually be overlooked with good service, but we didn't even experience that. There was a large field trip, so I tried to give the servers the benefit of the doubt, but when tables that were seated after us in the same section began getting their food first, that became more difficult. We ended up not being able to do what we had planned for our afternoon because of basic tacos and two kids meals taking over an hour from start to finish. The manager came to apologize for the experience, but that was the least genuine apology. Could easily have ruined the lovely morning we had in Baltimore.

Adjust your off season pricing - I visited in January when the inner Harbour was a ghost town on a Sunday. Before we ordered dinner, we had a double crown and Coke and it was $25 each! The place is huge and had less than 20 people so we left after looking at the menu prices for dinner. The prices might work in the Summer but NOT on a cold January empty night. We ate elsewhere.

DO NOT GO!!! - What a horrible experience. We didn’t even eat. We had to leave since it took almost 15 minutes and asking the hostess where our server was just for a drink order!! Go directly across the street to The Capital Grille, better atmosphere, above and beyond service and not much more money. Plus, you don’t stick to the floors as you walk!!
