He’ll use his tablet to illustrate where each scene was shot and will share behind-the-scenes and VFX dissections for an insight into the creation of each sequence. Richard will chauffeur you beyond Belfast to the genuine Iron Islands and every location in the Glens of Antrim and the north coast. Additionally, he provides Iron Born attire and weaponry for the tour without any additional fees.

great tour - Hey i think this is the same tour i was on last year, but the it was not an audi at the time it was a nissan micra. fantasticly informative and enjoyable otherwise but less space than i thought.

Second time touring with Richard - This is the second private tour we have done with Richard the Wildling !. Last year we did the Winterfell tour and enjoyed it so much we came back to Belfast to do the rest of the GOT locations with him. It is a wonderful day out. Richard picks you up early from your hotel and embarks on an epic day out. Most of the GOT locations are included in both tours and each one is a full day. Richard is a fantastic guy who keeps you entertained the whole day, not just about GOT (on which his enthusiasm and knowledge is epic) but also on his knowledge about Northern Ireland in general. The tour took us through beautiful scenery with coffee stops and lunch breaks in nice local pubs. His car is very comfortable and you can stay as short or as long as you wish in each of the stops … he also acts as your personal photographer along the way. Dressing up in GOT authentic gear was great fun too. You don’t even have to be a GOT fan to enjoy this tour as just seeing the beautiful locations all over Northern Ireland was enjoyable enough. We cannot recommend Richard’s tour enough and encourage anyone to just go ahead and book it. It will be money well spent.

Highly recommend! - We booked this tour to see the sights in NI and experience GoT in a whole new way…and we are so glad we did! We throughly enjoyed our day with Richard! He was fun, had amazing stories about being on set, and kept us laughing all day. He took great photos of us all day and some cheeky selfies, too :) Don’t hesitate to book this experience!

Just fantastic - the perfect Game of Thrones experience - Absolutely fabulous day out visiting a lot of the locations from Game of Thrones, visiting the Iron Islands, the cave where the demon was born, and other scenes from the series. We also got to visit the Giants Causeway which was an additional treat. Our guide for the day was Richard, who appeared in the series himself, and not only did he drive us to see lots of places, but he also regaled us with some wonderful stories from his time as a Wildling, and also added some non-Game of Thrones history, which was brilliant and informative.
The tour was brilliant in itself, but the fact we were lucky enough to meet Richard really made this a 5 star experience, and I cannot rate it highly enough.
We went to The Fullerton Arms for lunch, and the food and hospitality there was fantastic. I heartily recommend the battered Haddock, and my husband loved the Beef and Guinness pie.
The final part of the tour involved cloaks and swords and was just great fun.
A wonderful wonderful day.

Perfect private tour in every way … if in Belfast this is a must . Thankyou Game of thrones Tours and Richard . - If you’re a game of Thrones fan .. this is a must … what can we say !!! Richard was just fabulous in every way, communication,knowledge,enthusiasm … we just relaxed and enjoyed the day … just top notch . From booking simply perfect everything . We booked the winterfell private tour … we even got to hold some fabulous swords and cloaks… we became Starks for the day . Richard was just perfect he brought all the locations to life,with stories from his day as an extra on the show , showed photos and clips of scenes of the filing locations we visited . Richard also took amazing photos and some cheeky selfies , we enjoyed a fabulous lunch and any stops needed were accommodated .

Brilliant Winterfell trek. A must for any Stark fan! - Splashed out on Richard the Wilding’s private tour of the South for our son who is GoT obsessed! It was AMAZING. Richard is a genuine, beautiful human with the knowledge and experience of being an extra on the show. We gained a real insight into the making of GoT. The locations were particularly stunning with the autumn leaves. In addition to this he was open to sharing his own and that of his family’s experiences of growing up in Northern Ireland. He indulged our love of Van Morrison’s music too by sharing some stories, and our route took us through some of the places he sang about in ‘Coney Island’. We stopped for a delicious lunch and pint of Guinness in The Barn in Saul. We made some wonderful memories on this tour. Thank you Richard.

A Memorable & Must Do with the Best! - The entire process from pre-booking to finalizing the itinerary based off our personal situation was smooth and thorough. Richard was incredibly responsive and catered to our needs from pick up to drop off. He drove quite a distance to where we were staying at and dropped us off at a different location from that pick up, with our bags we flew with. For a couple, the Audi A6 was very comfortable in the back, there was a good amount of background music and information from Richard as we drove to our locations and for any restroom stops he was flexible. For all tour locations, Richard spent time with photos, a portable speaker and a tablet that portrayed the location we were in, the significance and how it was seen in real life compared to on film. In addition; he had props that added to the immersion, which was a topic he focused on greatly and made the tour much more engaging and memorable. We opted to do the Winterfell Trek which included 2x Treks which were about 90 min each, a visit to Inch Abbey, Winterfell Castle & Castle Ward, Tollymore Forest. We had a lunch break in the middle and had many photos taken by Richard at the stops; and wherever we wanted a photo Richard was there for us. The entire time Richard was mindful and engaging to us and everything felt safe and natural. He coined it a perfect way which we will end the review with, "It was like 3 friends hanging out to go see places"

Best guide ever!! - My group was booked on the group tour however due to illness we got upgraded to a private tour with Richard. He made our day! the tour was so much fun, and we so enjoyed all the location and learning more about the Game of Thorns. He was funny, entertaining and a pleasure to be with. I recommend you taking his tour you won't be disappointed.

An Amazing Game of Thrones Tour - Do this tour. It was so cool. Not only do you get to see Game of Thrones shooting locations, but you also get to see lovely Ireland. Richard was a delight. It was extra special to get insight from an extra on the show. This made our day stress free and wonderful. We definitely want to come back and do the Winterfell trek. We did the Iron Islands route this time.
