- Puseh Batuan Temple - The Batuan Temple is regarded as the oldest temple on Bali Island. It features Balinese ornaments and a roof made from black coconut tree fiber. Strategically located on the main road connecting Denpasar to Ubud, Batuan has evolved over a thousand years into a village of artists and craftsmen, rich with old legends and mysterious stories. Built in 944 Isaka or 1020 AD, this nearly 1000-year-old temple is classified as a Puseh temple according to the “Tri Kahyangan or Tri Murti” concept, making it the oldest temple on Bali Island.
- Tegenungan Waterfall - Located near Ubud, this is a great spot for taking pictures, swimming, and playing in the water.
- Uma Pakel Agro Tourism - This site offers a look at various tropical plantations such as robusta coffee, pineapple, Balinese snake fruit (salak), plain Balinese potatoes, star fruit, cacao, jackfruit, durian trees, and more. You can see how Balinese coffee is made traditionally and taste fresh Balinese coffee or ginger tea while enjoying views of the river and valley. They sell a variety of original Balinese coffee products, herb oil, and more. For those seeking a challenge, there’s also a swing you can try.
- Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Famous for its stunning rice paddies and the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system known as subak, Tegallalang offers a breathtaking view that extends down to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The cool and breezy high roadside location is a popular spot for tourists to take photos. Painters and nature lovers also frequent this area, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes nearby.
- Celuk Village - A renowned art village in Bali where you can see gold and silver jewelry.

Hidden Gems and Memorable Exploration - Jun was an excellent driver and a knowledgable guide for all things Balinese - culture, history and people! He found unique destination that were not overly crowded and hidden gems we had not discovered on prior visits. Highly recommend Jun if you are curious to thoroughly discover this beautiful island.

Hidden gems and beautiful destinations - Our tour guide/driver, Jun, was a delightful and knowledgeable companion on our Balinese discovery journey. Having been to Bali several times before, he offered destinations that were new for us and hidden gems we could never have found on our own. His explanations of the culture and people - past and present - were thorough and insightful. We highly recommend Jun for all of your wondering in and around this beautiful island.

Bali overview - Got off the ship and was met by Ketuk, who escorted me to his car for the excursion to the Ubud region. First stop was the Hindu temple, which was much more extensive and interesting than I had expected. Then taken to the restaurant overlooking the rice terraces, where I had a wonderful lunch. In the afternoon, visited the waterfall before returning to the ship. An interesting drive, Ketuk was very informative about life in Bali and ensured that I was well looked after. He was an excellent driver and the trip wasn't rushed.

Great experience in Bali! - We had an excellent time with Wayan as our tour guide! We didn’t want to book a tour through the cruise ship and I had found this one instead, and so glad I did.
My husband and I were the only ones on our tour, and Wayan had so much information for us about the Balinese culture the sites that we went to. He also customized our trip for what we wanted, and to beat the cruise tours so we weren’t wandering around with 100 other people.
Lunch was very tasty, and included, as were the entry fees to all the other places. It was so easy, he picked us up outside the cruise port with a sign and he escorted us in his air conditioned van. We were able to see things at our pace and not wait for lots of other people to get back on a bus.
Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful tour! - We had a wonderful day exploring a few highlights of Bali. We were looking for a quick excursion as we were disembarking our cruise in Bali and traveling home 16 hours later. We messaged the company directly asking if they were able to pick us up at the cruise terminal and drop us off at the airport hotel later on that day. Wayan message us back promptly and said he would be glad to do that. We booked our trip and we received a confirmation txt from the driver. We had planned to be picked up at 9:30 am but was pleasantly surprised that the driver arrived earlier than expected so we were able to start the trip earlier than expected. He assisted us with our luggage and we were off for the day. We stopped at a Hindu Temple, the Rice Terraces in which we had lunch here. The food was great! We the. Made our way to a wonderful waterfall on our way back the airport. Wayan was very cognizant of our time and gave us other options of other places to visit. Wayan is a great driver and the vehicle is roomy and had great A/C. It takes a bit of time to travel from place to place due to traffic and Wayan was good at explaining the local customs and any Bali highlights along the way. You basically get a personalized private tour when you book this excursion. We were very well satisfied and happy with our experience. We felt we got a great value for our money and we would recommend this tour to anyone coming in on a cruise or anyone who has a limited time to see a few sites as we did.

Great excursion for your money! - We were disembarking from our cruise to Bali and our return flight home was 16 hours later. We looked for a day excursion that would be able to pick us up from the cruise terminal and drop us off at the airport hotel later on that afternoon. I found this trip for a cruise terminal pick up and sent a message to the company asking if this was possible. Wayan messaged me back promptly and said he would be glad to do that. We booked our trip and Wayan personally picked us up at the cruise terminal earlier than we anticipated which worked great for our schedule. He assisted us with our luggage and we headed off for the day. We visited a ancient Hindu temple, the rice terraces and had lunch there which was great! We loved the food. Wayan assisted us with our photos and was a great guide explaining the Bali history and culture. We finished up our tour with a visit to a wonderful waterfall on the way back to the airport. Wayan was cognizant of our time and we could have elected to see a couple other sites but we elected to return to the airport. This is a personal tour with your own guide and compared to other tours we have booked in other countries we feel we got a lot of value for our money. The vehicle was large enough for our luggage and us and had great A/C. You will not be disappointed booking this excursion.

Great guide - Wayan is a great tourguide/driver who was very generous with his explanations about Bali life Hinduism and his own life experiences. We visited a Hindu temple where he explained the uses of the various buildings. We then had a good lunch with a wonderful view of a rice terrace. We continued on to a waterfall where we could swim, but chose not to. We also asked to see how batik is made and he took us to a lovely workshop/shop with beautiful hand made items. I would recommend t a tour with Wayan.
