Gosha Gala Tower - The tour begins at the main entrance of the Old City, known as the Double Gates. During the tour, guests will have the opportunity to see the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and Maiden Tower. The guide will provide insights into the history of the Old City and its notable buildings.
Palace of the Shirvanshahs - The next stop is the Shirvanshahs Palace, a gem of Azerbaijan’s architectural heritage and the former residence of the Shirvan rulers, located in the heart of Baku. The stunning complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, a tomb, a mosque from 1441, as well as a bathhouse and the mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.
Bukhara Caravanserai - Constructed in the late 15th century along the trade route of Icherisheher in Baku, the Bukhara caravanserai features a quadratic shape with a prominent portal and an octagonal courtyard. Surrounded by balconies and personal premises, the courtyard served as a gathering place for travelers and merchants after daily trade activities. Restoration in 1964 revealed its grand structure amidst surrounding buildings.
Maiden Tower - Often compared to the Eiffel Tower of Baku, the Maiden Tower served as a fortress for the Shirvanshahs in the 12th century. Its architectural plan, though seemingly simple, features extraordinarily thick walls at the base, narrowing towards the top. Today, the interior hosts a display of old photographs and a souvenir shop, with a rooftop viewpoint offering breathtaking views of Baku Bay and the Old City.
Miniature Books - Located within the old city, the Museum of Miniature Books is recognized by the Guinness Book of Records for having the largest collection of miniature books. Curated by Zarifa Salahova over 30 years, the museum opened on April 2, 2002, and houses over 5,600 books from 66 countries.
Dagustu Park (Upland Park) - Known as “Viewing Square” and formerly “Sergei Kirov Park” during the Soviet era, Upland Park is a beloved spot in Baku for walking, relaxing, and enjoying sea views. Visitors can unwind with fresh air, city views, and tea at the Highland Park Café, accompanied by classic lounge music. It’s especially recommended to visit at night for the stunning lighting on the stairs.
Baku Boulevard - Also known as the National Seaside Park, Baku Boulevard is a favorite promenade for residents and visitors, and the second largest in Europe after Paris’ River Seine park. Established over 100 years ago, it stretches 3,750 meters along the Caspian Sea, featuring museums, cultural facilities, malls, and entertainment centers, including the Devil’s Wheel with views over Baku Bay.
Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum - The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum showcases various schools and techniques from across the country, highlighting the history and development of carpet weaving. In August 2014, the museum moved to a new building shaped like a rolled carpet, designed by Austrian architects Franz Janz and Walter Mari. The museum houses over 14,000 exhibits, including rare carpets, jewelry, clothing, and more, and is open Tuesday through Sunday.
Little Venice - “Little Venice” in Baku Boulevard, established in 1960 and expanded to 10,000 sq.m., features two large and several small islands connected by ornate bridges. Visitors can enjoy gondola rides and dine at two restaurants offering Western and Eastern cuisine. The area offers a Venetian experience with Azerbaijani dishes and beautiful surroundings.
Nizami str. /Tarqovi - The tour continues to Nizami Street, where guests have 15-20 minutes to explore the central street filled with shops and restaurants. Fountain Square, with its magical fountains, is also a highlight.
Fountain Square - A popular spot for strollers, this leafy piazza is the natural focus of Central Baku. The fountains, including one with shiny silvered spheres, reflect the trees and stone facades, and the Nizami Literature Museum’s beautiful facade adds to the charm.
Absheron Peninsula Tour
Ateshgah - Fire Temple - The Temple of Eternal Fire, Ateshgah, is a renowned Azerbaijani exotic site located 30 km from Baku in Surakhany. Known for its natural gas outlets that ignite upon contact with oxygen, the temple was constructed in the 17th-18th centuries.
Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - Yanar Dag, a famous “eternal flame” site, is a hill with natural gas burning on its slope. Located 25 km north of Baku in Mehemmedi village, it has been a state-protected conservation area since 2007.
Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center - On the return to the hotel, a stop at the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center offers a photo opportunity in front of the “I LOVE BAKU” sign. Designed by Zaha Hadid, the center is known for its flowing, curved architecture and serves as a hub for diverse cultural activities.
Gobustan Petroglyphs & Mud Volcanoes
Gobustan Rock Art - En route to Gobustan, visitors will see oil rigs that supplied the USSR with oil for over 70 years. The Gobustan Museum provides insights into the area’s history, with over 3,500 petroglyphs and 20 suburban shelters identified since their discovery in 1939-1940.
Mud Volcanoes - The tour continues to the Mud Volcanoes near Gobustan National Museum. Azerbaijan is home to about 300 mud volcanoes, offering a unique opportunity to see these natural wonders up close.
Bibi-Heybat Mosque - The Bibi-Heybat Mosque, housing the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum, is a spiritual center for Muslims and a major Islamic architectural monument in Azerbaijan. Known locally as “the mosque of Fatima,” it was described by Alexandre Dumas in the 1840s.
Shamakhi - Lahij - Gabala
Juma Mosque - On the journey from Baku to Gabala, a visit to the Juma Mosque in Shamakhi is a must. Unlike many mosques, it welcomes non-Muslims, with shoes removed and head coverings provided for women.
Diri Baba Mausoleum - The Diri Baba mausoleum, a two-storey building on a cliff, features a hall with a passageway to an octahedral cupola. Its architecture harmonizes with the surrounding rocks and greenery, and it is protected by the government.
Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum - Located at the foot of Gulistan Fortress, the Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, or “Seven Domes,” is the burial site of Shirvan Dynasty rulers. The half-destroyed stone domes create a mysterious atmosphere.
Lahich - The village of Lahij, accessible via the Caucasus Mountains’ forests and roads, offers stunning natural canyons and the Zernava suspension bridge. Known for its craftsmen and artisans, Lahij showcases traditional metalwork and unique mosques.
Nohur Lake - Nohur Lake, near the Gabala-Ismayilli-Baku motorway, is a natural attraction surrounded by mountains. Located 5 km east of Gabala city, it offers scenic views and is a popular tourist destination.
Seven Beauties Waterfall - Located in Vandam village, the Seven Beauties Waterfall flows from the Caucasus Mountains’ peaks. In spring and summer, tea houses offer traditional Gabala jam, and a tea house at the waterfall’s highest point provides a unique experience.
Tufandag Mountain Resort - The Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourist Complex, 4 km from Gabala city, offers skiing, cable car rides, and mountain climbing. With ski slopes for all levels and rental equipment available, it provides unforgettable experiences.
Gabala - Sheki Tour
Church of Kish - En route to Sheki, visit the first Albanian church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century AD. The beautifully renovated church in Kish village serves as a museum and offers insights into Caucasian Albania.
Sheki Khan’s Palace - Built in 1762 as a summer residence for the Khan of Sheki, the palace features intricate paintings and 500-year-old plane trees in its garden.
Sheki Karvansaray - The “Caravanserai” historical complex in Sheki includes the “Upper” and “Lower” caravanserai, dating back to the 18th-19th centuries. The “Lower” caravanserai features a rectangular shape with a central courtyard and 242 rooms.
Shaki-Zaqatala Region - Sheki, a center of silkworm breeding and silk production, is famous for its rich cuisine and sweets. Visitors can try “Piti” soup and Sheki sweets like Baklava and Tel Halva.
Sheki - Ganja tour
Turkish Bath House Chokek - A UNESCO-protected cultural monument, the bath was built in the 17th century with red brick. Located in Ganja’s city center, it offers free parking at the nearby mall.
Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum - The mausoleum, dating back to the 13th-14th centuries, honors the great poet Nizami. The current building, from 1991, features a sculpture and fountains symbolizing his major poems.
Shah Abbas Mosque - Built in 1606, the Juma Mosque in central Ganja features a red-brick exterior and a large white dome. It was commissioned by Sheykh Baheddin Mohammad Amil of the Persian Safavid Empire.
Bottle House - The Bottle House in Ganja is a unique private residence made of glass bottles. Visitors can marvel at this engineering and artistic feat and support its maintenance by purchasing souvenirs.

Heydar Aliyev International Airport - The 7-day adventure tour concludes today. After breakfast at the hotel in Baku, guests will check out and be transferred to Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
