Experiencing Heavenly landscapes in Gabala and Shamakhi - We booked a tour for g Gabala and Shamakhi and had so much fun throughout the tour. Leyla is the best tour guide ever! She is extremely friendly, informative and her energy keeps everyone excited. We saw so many beautiful spots and got to do everything in time. It was a memorable and amazing experience for us. We, as a couple, highly recommend AZP travel company and requesting for Leyla as the tour guide. The places are beautiful and you don't want to miss this one!💛

A good day out (a long day !) - Toghrul communicated really well and I was picked up on time. He kept us advised of what we were doing next and throughout the day. He and Ulya were really friendly and knowledgeable all day and the driver was good too, it was a nice friendly group. I have to say that this was a very long day - I got back to my hotel at around 10.45. The places we saw were close to each other but the end point was just u see 4 hours drive from Baku so you need to bare that in mind. This is no reflection on Ulya and Toghrul obviously! I did a trip the following day with a different company and it was very different - we were just on and off the bus, no communication and very little conversation. So if you can pick to use this company then you should. Highly recommended 👍🏽

Don’t Miss This! - I must say the tour was very professional and organized, they came to pick us from our hotels. We had a glance at the history of Azerbaijan at the Jumaa Mosque, and a lot of beautiful scenery from lakes and mountains. Can’t forget to mention our amazing tour guide Toghrul, an energetic young man with a good sense of humor :) Would recommend this trip to everyone!

Poor organization - It was bad organisation, first I reviced a call a day prior by Mr Rza to change to 4th of August but I couldn't due flight date. I was asked to be ready 8:30am on 3rd which I did. During the trip we made alot of rest stops that we spend unnecessary time and when we came to meal/prayer time we had only 20-40mins (we were not allowed to order and served 2 small chicken legs, spoon of rice(yes!!) , soup, salad and 5 peices of fries), I wish we were able to order with paying difference, then we had to take our tea in plastic cup as no time. On the way we were told if we went to the fountain we will be late but the choice is yours which we decided to go. we went back to baku at 12 mid night and bus suddenly stopped at old town and I was asked by Mr Rza to "walk" to my hotel at middle of night!! When I raised my concerns about its night and I did take package from TripAdvisor first he told its safe city and police everywhere but i told him we walked all day i can't walk 7 to 9mins to my hotel then he argued with driver to drop me off. I reached home 12:40 am with a planned flight next day. I have booked this through TripAdvisor with extra 100AED (50 manat) compared to any baku travel office, just for trusting the app. I wish in future there will be more organization.

Good tour, poor & unfriendly guide - To start with the good points: - Beautiful tour where you’ll see a lot of different points in Azerbaijan nature with some beautiful photo spots - Price of 100 manat per person is okay given the long drive and points covered Negative points: - Lunch: the lunch was located at a beautiful place in the forest but the food quality was very poor and consisted of a soup, a plate of plain rice and 3 small pieces of meat. As dessert a coup of tea was served. Th second very negative point was the tour guide Michelle who had a really bad temper and explained only the bare minimum. If asked any additional questions, she replied in a very offended way, plus she always pressured the group “Hurry up, Why are you taking so long etc.”. I understand that there are many points to visit but still it is possible to communicate in a more friendly way. On the drive back to Baku she shouted loudly in Russian language with the bus driver for some reason.

Unreliability of viator and tour operator - Worst experience ever had. All of sudden my trip was cancelled by tour operator without informing me 24 hours in advance. Also, the deducted money from my card was not returned immediate. Denying the service but taking money from customer account. If customer cancelled the trip within 24 hrs they have the cancellation policy. But as a customer I have to suffer if they cancel. All my day gone on Azerbaijan fighting with viator and tour operator. Still not received my money. Imagine my distress going through all this in new country with my family. Is it spam?
