Fabulous excursion! - We booked this excursion on our Royal Caribbean cruise and it was A BLAST!
Feeding the pigs was so much fun, and we got a lot of cute pics!
The best part was spending the afternoon on Pearl Island - delicious lunch, a beautiful beach and THE BEST DRINKS we had all vacation.
The crew was beyond friendly and we had a blast hanging with them.
I would definitely recommend this.
It was a great thirty or so minute ferry ride to the island - an hour or so with the pigs, and then two hours to relax on the beach before headed back.
If your cruise or stay is only in port for six hours, this will be the only thing you will be able to do.
Loved it. It was a perfect day.

super nice - “Visiting the swimming pigs was such a unique and unforgettable experience! The pigs were adorable and friendly, and it was amazing to see them swimming in such a beautiful, natural setting. The tour guides were professional, informative, and made sure everyone had a fun and safe time. It was clear they cared about the animals and the environment. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Loved it! - Everyone is super nice and friendly. The piggies were so cute and they let you hold a baby one to take pictures with. Well worth the price. The island was nice to relax in.

Hogging all the Beach - This trip is a must for all animal lovers. It is how it looks, pigs of all shapes & sizes on a tropical island in and out of the water. The area to share with the pigs is not very large but still an oddly enjoyable experience. The staff provide food with wood picks to feed the pigs and give you plenty of time to take photos and relax. Unfortunately there is no toilet so make sure you go before your trip. Pearl island was next where food was provided (rice, BBQ chicken & veg) and then time to explore the island lighthouse and soak up the sun in the many sun loungers on hand. This was all provided with our cruise ship excursion so i am not sure if all this is included with all tours.

Pig Beach, highly recommend! - This is a “must do” when visiting Nassau. The tour companies have it timed so they’re aren’t overwhelming crowds, you can wander among the pigs and actually enjoy the experience. You have to lure the pigs into the water with treats, and they readily comply. Lots of photo ops, lots of fun!

Swimming Pigs and Pearl Island Beach Escape - We booked this excursion through our cruise ship, Celebrity Eclipse. We loved swimming with the pigs, just loved it! The pigs have their own private island, where they live in the lap of pig luxury, these pigs have it good! So the process is that you are taken by boat from the port over to Pearl Island, then you transfer into a smaller boat which takes you the very short ride to where the pigs live. Only a small number of guest are allowed on the pig island at a time. The pigs do definitely swim, if you get in the water with the cup of pig snacks first, then they follow you in. Most of the guests preferred to stay on the water's edge with the pigs running all around us, but a few guests did get into the water and pigs would follow willingly. The way the boats were running that day, we had a full hour with the pigs, which was great. Then, the boat picks you up and takes you across the water to Pearl Island itself, for lunch and time at whichever of the many beaches there are on Pearl Island. The island is very long - you need to walk to the very end to see all of the various beaches, don't just pick the first one you see. At the very end of the island, is an iguana experience - you do pay extra if you want to go in and hold the iguana for a photo shoot, but otherwise you can just watch. So as I said, sprinkled throughout the length of the island are beaches, bars, bathrooms. We found all of the bathrooms to be clean. There were loads of chaises available at the beaches. There are also cabanas which looked very nice, with your own steward, bar service etc, but we did not access those. The lunch which was included was fine, nothing to get excited about, but it was fine, fuel to keep you going. We've been to the Blue Lagoon and we far and away prefer Pearl Island - it's smaller, more intimate, not nearly as crowded.

Pigs are great! Would skip Pearl Island. - Pearl Island is eh. The area to swim is the same as the area to kayak and is kind of small. The island is full of extra charges, including a woman who will take your money for your kids to play on an inflatable obstacle course on the water, but then none of the kids could get up, got upset and left the water... we might as well have just thrown $20 in the trash. There are no other snacks or food options available outside of the lunch, which was fish, fingers, rice and steamed veggies. They do have a bar that has smoothies available for purchase purchase (two flavors) and plenty of alcoholic drinks. They ran out of chicken by the time it was our turn. They won't give you cups of water before lunch time and will make you buy a bottle of water. Our time to swim with the pigs was 11:30, exactly when lunch was opening so we had to wait until we got back to eat.
The swimming with the pigs was wonderful! We really loved it and would absolutely do it again. We saw piglets all the way up to big giant pigs and everything in between. The staff on pig Island were wonderful, and the boat ride back over was also fantastic with our driver giving tons of information about the islands.
If I were to go back I would skip Pearl Island but would 100 percent swim with the piggies again!

Pig Swim Time - Our family took this excursion as part of a Royal Caribbean cruise. The boat from the port was loaded with people and incredibly slow. That trip to and from the island took most of our day. When we arrived at Pearl we boarded another boat that took us to pig island. The opportunity to feed pigs in the Bahamas is unique, however it’s not as fun as the pictures show. The pigs are fed from a wooden skewer not your hands. (Just so you know.) One may think the pigs aren’t muddy since the island is sand. Not so. They are covered with mud and when they get in the water it washes off a long with their poop. When they brush against you they leave mud on you. Pigs will get into your bag if left in a chair. The boat left us there for much longer than the time we needed. 30 minutes is plenty, but plan to stay much longer.

Rushed and waste of money - We did this trip through royal carribean and wasn't worth the money.we got told to meet at 10am on the pier still standing there at 10.30 then everyone stood in a line filling out wavier forms then getting wristbands for your time slot.
Then you got a food voucher.
Then finally walked through the pier to get on the boat to take you to the island about another 15 mins until boat was full.
Took about 25 mins to get to pearl island we were there for about 2 hrs.
Food was terrible it was included all cold.
Then you get on a smaller boat to go across to another island to swim with the pigs only thing was they didnt want to go into the water.
The sea had lots of jellyfish and sea lice so you weren't really allowed to go in unless you wanted to.
Pigs come along you get some food to feed them and they wander around you.
Got a we picture taken at end with a baby pig.
They are held in a pen.
There was about 50 other people doing it at the same time.
Got about 45 mins.
This trip is rushed and not worth the money.
I did enjoy the experience

Abandoned at island for 3 hours - Worse experience ever, abandoned at island without anything to drink for almost 3 hours, not even water, boat came firts time and couple small boats were using the aluminum stairs to jump on the boat and they tuned around, after 30 more minutes came back full of people and then back to the main island again.
We missed all the time at main island beach food there was horrible, waiting another 30 minutes for chicken BBQ, nasty place, not clean, rude people, asking for tips all the time and talking about management fault not them, especially the lady responsible for the tour at port was like a military, yelling on people and making lines and delays.
Don’t book this tour ever again!!!!!
