Lesung Bali Cooking Class - Our class located in the west side of ubud, the place surrounded by green area and atmosphere of a countryside. When we arrive, we will take you to visit one of traditional market tour and buy some spices from the local (morning class only), then we will take you to one of the local house to see and know more about Balinese culture, life style and how the placed the building at the house.
Then we will take you to our farm to start the class, after we decided for the menu that we will cook, we will take you to explore the farm and harvest the spices that we will use during the class. after that our balinese chef will show you how to make authentic balinese food with fresh ingredients that we picked in the farm.
During the class, you will learn about the techniques that used in balinese way of cooking, such as chopping and pounding spices with Lesung (mortar and pestle), then the chef will explain you more about how to cook, how many ingredients that will use and what else do it need to cook based on the menu option. We have variety of menu such vegetarian and vegan or regular menu which is you could choose during the class.

Wonderful cooking class near Ubud - We had such a wonderful time with Ron, Putri, and Agung. We were treated to a visit to a traditional Balinese home and shared coffee and treats. Ron guided us through making several delicious, traditional dishes. He was skilled, funny, and delightful. We enjoyed the fruits of our efforts and left full, happy, with wonderful memories!

Perfect experience, 100% Recommend - My family and I had a wonderful time with Ron, Putri, and Agung. They were all so kind, knowledgeable, and fun. At around $40 per person the experience was well worth it as we cooked 5 dishes AND a dessert. The kitchen itself is lovely, it has everything you need and there are fans to keep it cool. The surrounding area was lush, with many plants including a chili bush where they’ll pick chilis to use in your sambal! We heard about them from a friend and we’re so glad we did. The ingredients were fresh and we were able to learn new techniques I’d never tried before. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone, but especially if you’re a home cook or foodie, you’ll learn a lot and Ron even sent us all the recipes so we can recreate them at home! The entire class took around 3 hours, between prep, cooking, and eating. We were in a villa outside of Ubud and the drive was very manageable. Definitely give these guys a try, it’s well worth it and Ron with most definitely make you laugh.

A wonderful Bali lunch - Went to the authentic Bali cooking class with friends. Chef Ron and his team were very helpful walking us through the steps and guiding us as we prepared a wonderful lunch. Chef Ron is very funny, some might say a comedian, and made the afternoon a great time and experience for all of us

A days getaway with cooking - My teenage daughter and I had a great time during cooking class.
We both like to cook and are quite experienced in the kitchen, but we still felt that we learned something and got some good tips and tricks for the Balinese cooking.
After cooking , she and I could enjoy our dinner while sitting in the beautiful garden. It was also a great opportunity for a little getaway for her and I - which especially Mum enjoyed ❤️

Amazing cooking class and dinner - We had an unforgettable experience at this amazing cooking class in Ubud. Putri is fantastic! The food was great and you really feel immersed in the local energy of Bali. The most authentic experience we had! From start to finish, it was an experience full of joy, learning, and connection. We highly recommend this experience!

The best cooking course around Ubud - This was really an amazing cooking class - or rather a whole experience! Ron showed us how families in Bali live and whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and some sweets, we had an insightful and very interesting conversation with him about the Balinese culture. Then it was time to start cooking and Putri made it such a fun and cool experience! We enjoyed every second of it, and made truly tasty recipes that we can make again back home.
Choose this cooking course, you won't regret it, trust us :) Thank you Ron and team for the unforgettable day.

Great authentic experience! - This was absolutely amazing. Our host was so inviting (and a lowkey comedian) and he really made us feel comfortable and at ease. The food was great and you really feel immersed in the local energy of Bali. The most authentic experience we had!

Much more than cooking - This activity was one of the most enjoyed in Bali. It's not only about cooking, it was really fun and the food was really good (we adapted the menu to be vegetarian and it was really very good). It is also about having the opportunity to get to know the culture up close. We did the morning class, so we visited a local market while Ron told us some curiosities and tried some products. He then explained what traditional Balinese houses looked like and why each location was. Before cooking, we had a coffee with him while he kept telling us about his culture, it was a really interesting talk and a very special opportunity to get closer. He was open to us asking any questions about the country. As for the cooking class, it was very nice, the setting was super nice and the food amazing. Thank you so much!

Special Birthday cooking with friends :) - We had an unforgettable experience at this amazing cooking school in Bali, where we celebrated my husband's birthday. Preparing authentic Balinese dishes was not only fun and educational, but the hospitality went far beyond our expectations. Our hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, taking care of every little detail. As a touching surprise, they even presented my husband with a beautiful birthday cake. The experience was made even more special by a lovely Balinese dance performance by the host’s daughter and her friends. It was truly a heartwarming and unique celebration. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly special and authentic experience in Bali!

Az autentikus balinéz ételek elkészítése nemcsak érdekes és tanulságos volt, de a vendéglátás is messze felülmúlta az elvárásainkat. A házigazdák rendkívül kedvesek és figyelmesek voltak – minden apró részletre odafigyeltek. Külön meglepetésként egy gyönyörű tortával is megajándékozták a férjemet, ami nagyon megható volt. A programot tovább színesítette a házigazda kislányának és barátainak gyönyörű balinéz táncelőadása, amitől az egész ünnep még különlegesebb lett. Szívből ajánlom mindenkinek, aki valami igazán különlegeset szeretne átélni Balin!

Best Cooking Experience in Bali - We were a group of 8 friends holidaying in Bali and this is a highlight of our trip. We did the early morning experience which took us to the market followed by welcome drink and snack in a local Balinese home. Our guide Ron was exceptional, so friendly, knowledgeable and such a comedian. He has worked as a chef around Legian area and now shares his passion for food with others. I’ve done a few of these cooking classes over the years and this one I would rate as the best. Have some fun and book yourself a class.
