The tour guide will pick up guests at 8 AM in an air-conditioned private van to visit the second-largest Sphinx discovered in Egypt, located in the open-air museum of Memphis, the first capital of United Egypt. Following this, the tour proceeds to Dahshur to see the first classic pyramid built in Egypt, known as the Red Pyramid, and the nearby Bent Pyramid. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local village-style restaurant or a restaurant with a view of the pyramids. Afterward, the guide will accompany guests to Saqqara to visit the first pyramid built in Egypt, the Step Pyramid of Djoser, and the first pyramid decorated with pyramid texts, Unas’s Pyramid, which guests can enter. The tour also includes Teti’s Pyramid and the Tomb of Kagamine. The journey continues to the Giza area to see the only surviving wonder of the ancient world, the three Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Guests will enjoy a 30-minute camel ride in the desert with a stunning pyramids backdrop. Before returning to the hotel, there is an opportunity to visit one of the largest papyrus institutes, where an amazing class on how the ancient Egyptians made the first paper 7,000 years ago will be provided. Finally, guests will be transferred back to their hotel.
