Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara is home to the oldest complete stone building complex in history, the Pyramid of Djoser, constructed during the Third Dynasty. Additionally, sixteen other Egyptian kings erected pyramids at Saqqara, which now exist in varying states of preservation. Throughout the entire Pharaonic period, high-ranking officials added private funeral monuments to this necropolis. It remained a significant site for non-royal burials and cult ceremonies for over 3,000 years, extending into Ptolemaic and Roman times. To the north of Saqqara lies the Abusir pyramid complex, and to the south is the Dahshur pyramid complex. Together with the Giza Pyramid complex to the far north, they form the Pyramid Fields of Memphis, or the Memphite Necropolis, which was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.

Memphis and Sakkara - Memphis (Arabic: مَنْف, romanized: Manf, pronounced [mænf]; Bohairic Coptic: ⲙⲉⲙϥⲓ; Greek: Μέμφις), also known as Men-nefer, was the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt, referred to as mḥw (“North”). Its ruins are situated near the modern village of Mit Rahina (Arabic: ميت رهينة), in the Badrashin district, Giza, Egypt. Alongside the pyramid fields that extend over a desert plateau for more than 30 kilometers (19 miles) to its west, including the renowned Pyramids of Giza, Memphis and its necropolis have been designated as a World Heritage Site. The site is accessible to the public as an open-air museum.

Pyramids of Dahshour - Dahshur (often spelled Dashur in English; Arabic: دهشور Dahšūr pronounced [dɑhˈʃuːɾ]) is an ancient Egyptian pyramid complex and necropolis, sharing its name with the nearby village of Manshiyyat Dahshur (Arabic: منشأة دهشور) in the Badrashin district, Giza. Dahshur is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located on the Western Desert plateau at the edge of the cultivated plain. Along with the pyramid complexes at Saqqara, Abusir, and Giza to its north, it forms the pyramid fields of the ancient capital city of Memphis. It is renowned for several pyramids, particularly Sneferu’s Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, constructed between 2613 and 2589 BC.
