• Bibliotheca Alexandria - Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo and travel to Alexandria. The tour starts at the Library of Alexandria, the largest library globally, housing 8 million books. Visit the President Sadat Museum and explore the open court, where you can admire statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy I, discovered underwater nearby. The guide will describe the library’s exterior design, and there will be opportunities for photo stops. Note: The Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays. A ticket is required to enter the reading area.

• Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the largest Roman cemetery, featuring three levels carved into the rock.

• Pompey’s Pillar - Drive by Pompey’s Pillar and pause for a photo opportunity. This monument was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century.

• Ancient Roman Amphitheater - Stroll past the excavation site of the Old Roman City of Alexandria, which includes Roman villas, the Amphitheater Ruins, Alexandria’s Great Tomb excavation site, and various ruins. Please note that the tour will not include interior visits, but the guide will provide historical insights from the outside.

• Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral - Visit St. Mark’s Church, the oldest church in Africa.

• Mansheya - Continue the tour through Mansheya’s oldest market area, featuring traditional women’s markets (zan’et etsetat) with narrow streets. The gold market is also located here, where people purchase wedding and engagement jewelry.

• Alexandria Unknown Naval Soldier Memorial - Pass by the Unknown Soldiers Memorial.

• Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque - The car will transport you to the city’s largest and most beautiful mosque, allowing for a photo stop at the Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Walk by Egypt’s oldest funfair.

• Kayetbai - Across from the corniche and the old harbor, observe the traditional fishing boats, fishermen, and net makers. The photos taken here are stunning. Continue to view the exterior of Quaitbay Castle, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. This spectacular castle offers a fantastic photo opportunity.
