Highlights
  • Temples of Baalbek - The Roman ruins in Baalbek, Lebanon’s most significant Roman heritage, are considered one of the ancient world’s marvels. These grand and majestic Roman temples are not only the largest ever constructed but also among the best preserved.
  • Sayyida Khawla Shrine - The Mosque of Sayyida Khawla in Baalbek, Lebanon, stands on the site believed to be the burial place of Sayyida Khawla, daughter of Imam al-Hussein, the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson. Locals believe that when the caravan of Karbala captives passed through Baalbek, Khawla, the daughter of Imam al-Hussein, died and was buried there.
  • Stone of the Pregnant Woman - The Stone of the Pregnant Woman is a crafted Roman monolith in Baalbek, Lebanon. Along with another ancient stone block nearby, it ranks among the largest monoliths ever quarried. These two blocks were likely intended for the nearby Roman temple complex and are noted for their unparalleled monolithic size in antiquity.
  • Umayyad Ruins of Aanjar - The Umayyad Ruins of Aanjar provide exceptional evidence of the Umayyad civilization and serve as a prime example of an inland commercial hub at the junction of two significant routes: one from Beirut to Damascus and the other crossing the Bekaa from Homs to Tiberias. Archaeologists only discovered this ancient city’s site in the late 1940s. The ruins include the walls of the Umayyad palace, harems, a mosque, the Caliph’s great palace, thermal baths, and numerous pillars featuring elements of Roman architecture.
  • Chateau Ksara - Château Ksara is a winery in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, established in 1857 by Jesuit priests. It introduced Lebanon’s first dry wine. Château Ksara produces around 3 million bottles annually, exporting its wines to over 40 countries.

Excellent service & company! - We had a great experience with Beirut Airport Transfer - we did two tours with them, this and the half day one for Byblos. I booked both with a couple of day's notice with the company, who were super easy to coordinate with via Whatsapp; they also followed up after every trip to get our feedback and ensure everything went well. On both trips, we had Kasem, our fantastic driver & guide, who was super charming and great company to travel with. The pickup and drop off was on time for both trips and the guides they arranged for Baalbek and Byblos were absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend the company and will definitely be using them on future trips.
