Day trip to the national park - We had a truly wonderful day exploring the Simien Mountain National Park. The landscape was breathtaking, with sweeping views of cliffs, valleys, and rugged peaks that seemed to stretch endlessly. One of the highlights was encountering a group of Gelada monkeys—completely at ease in their natural habitat. Watching them interact and graze in the grasslands was both peaceful and fascinating.
Along the way, we passed through a few small villages that felt almost untouched by time.
