millpu - Excellent place, full of magic and charm. Village enclave in the mountain range of the southern Andes. place of the opus in the most mountains.

A small natural wonder in spectacular scenery - It is a one-hour journey from Ayacuccha, but it is definitely worth it, preferably with a local tour company. It's cheaper and you're taken to trout dinner afterwards. The Aguas Turquesas are over 3500 meters high. To avoid breathing problems, it is best to drink the herbal tea, which is offered everywhere. In the lagoon and the waterfalls you can unfortunately no longer bathe to the delight of the precious minerals that color the water turquoise to emerald green, depending on the travel time. But they are a small natural wonder in a magnificent mountain landscape. And the trout after that tastes delicious, too. Trout is touted as a native fish in the Andes. You prefer to keep it to yourself that the first trout was a souvenir of the Spaniards 😉

Beautiful Waters - This was a great trip and the tour went smoothly. By far, the Agua Turquesas was my favorite site to see in Perú (Machu Pichu is a close second). Make sure to leave in the morning as the waters are located inside a mini cañon, so once the sun goes down it's not as beautiful.

Great tour - We had a nice lunch and the falls were beautiful. Our guide gave us a little time to check out the falls. We got to walk above them and down to them

NICE LANDSCAPE BUT TIRED - Very good Tour, the only thing q is 3.5 hrs journey to get to Millpu. Also you have to do a good hike to enjoy the complete landscape. The Guide Paul very good in his explanation The lunch fried trout very good, so well fried that the thorns do not feel. The only bad thing was the car that transported us had no seat belts and no air conditioning.

Stunning but beware - Guide was great but the tour is only in Spanish (luckily I speak Spanish). 4 hour drive from Ayacucho then a 2km hile uphill along an uneven track. Steep climb down to the river. If you have lunch there beware that they only serve trout. So if you are vegetarian/vegan or like me, allergic to fish then bring your own.

Spanish Guide - The trip was good and our guide really friendly. However, on here, it said when I booked that it was an English speaking guide, but on the day it wasn't. And so I missed out on all of the explanations and stories, which did negatively impact the experience.

Just a bus - No communication, calls and messages weren’t answered. I was at the pickup point 15 minutes early and no one was there. Tour is NOT in English and no one at the company spoke English or bothered to try to translate anything. I had to use my broken Spanish to get by. Giving 3 stars because they went out of their way to get me to the group once they realized. Good for transportation to and from Aguas Turquesas but this is not a “tour”. Also, make sure you know you can no longer swim here, some people I noticed brought swimsuits and were disappointed.

Self-guided tour on the walk - The waterfalls have a beautiful landscape, however, take into account that if you take the tour with the Huancaraylla operator, you will not have the support of the guide during the walk, only at the beginning and at the end of the tour. Likewise, the agency person is not open to receiving comments or recommendations. In this regard, my family and I had a very bad experience.

Disappointing :( - This tour is not offered in English . I hate that it’s says it’s offered in English when it’s only in Spanish. If you are looking for just transportation then that works but this is not a tour . Although my guide was so nice and made sure I was okay the whole trip. I lost on all the explanation and information about the place , which he gave in Spanish. I would also recommend just going into Ayacucho and booking your tour from there as there is a huge street with different companies offering tours, plus it’s way cheaper . They will also try to make you pay for the entrance so make sure you take a photo of the info saying what’s included and what’s not. The Turquoise water was beautiful as described , you can’t swim or go in the water , but you can still enjoy the view from a distance .
