“Wonderful Port excursion from Marseille - A very nice, private tour to a beautiful organic winery, and then the historic city of Avignon. The tasting was great and the wine making process and terrior was explained in great detail by the sommelier. After that, Guide Laurent took us to Avignon, where he knew some great photo ops. We then had free time to explore the beautiful city, and had an authentic French meal. He returned us to our cruise ship in Marseille, very satisfied with our excursion. It was nice to see the ships massive, slow moving excursions, and not be part of that!” - Reviewed on 2024-08-19

“Excellent, personalized experience! - Joe gave us such a great day! He is so talented at personalizing experiences and so knowledgeable about the places we toured. We started in Avignon at the Palace of the Popes. When you enter they hand you a tablet that gives you the information written on French-only signs translated to your native language. Also on this tablet is a 3D representation of the room you are in. If you scroll around the 3D, some of the rooms have dots you can hit for extra information. We did not do the garden tour so we cannot comment on that. Currently they have the castle tour in two sections. The second section is more visually stunning so if you are very short on time maybe start there. There are some signs that the tablet does not translate but all of the ones I noticed also had that text in English and at least one other language. I cannot eat gluten, so Joe found a crepe station for us to eat at that is gluten free! Talk about personalized service!!!” - Reviewed on 2023-07-06
