Fun Pottery Class - Fun pottery class. We began the class by choosing which item we wanted to create. I decided on a vase and my husband created a mug. The instructor then began to share information about Cappadocia and the clay making process. He also took our phones to take pictures throughout the experience. The instructor would show us a technique and then move onto the next person. He was very helpful. The class was a lot of fun. Afterwards we explored the shop and made a few purchases. The instructor allowed us to leave behind our final products while we explored the town. Its quite small, the restaurant right upstairs was delicious. When we came back to claim our pottery, he provided us with bubble wrap and a plastic bag. The clay took about 2 days to fully dry. We traveled with it slightly wet on a two hour flight. The handle of the mug broke off but we were able to glue it back on.

Pottery making - It was a really nice experience, they very friendly at the shop. You can also buy their amazing pottery things, but they not forcing you just asking you take a look and choose what would you like to make, also show the process how those plates become so beautiful just from the clay.Went with my partner and made a mug and vase, never did it in our life but we still managed to make something nice. Thanks for our tutor and he's helping hands. Didn't take a long time too, absolutely worth it and recommend tham.Thank you very much!!

Best pottery experience in Cappadocia - This was the best pottery class we've ever tried. The studio is very clean and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. At the end, we each made our own custom piece. I made a bowl, and my girlfriend made a vase with a wave-shaped top. We waited about 30 minutes for them to dry a bit so we could bring them back to our hotel. While waiting, we took a nice walk around Avanos. Definitely worth trying if you're visiting Cappadocia.

Nice experience especially for families - I attended this workshop with my 10-year-old daughter and it was a really enjoyable experience. An hour spent in total calm and relaxation, perfect to disconnect for a moment from the whirlwind of emotions and information that the beautiful Cappadocia offers every day. The environment was very quiet and welcoming, ideal especially for children: a time to slow down, concentrate and create something with their own hands. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating break in the heart of a journey full of wonders — a simple but meaningful experience, perfect for young and old.

Great family fun - Great fun! My husband and 5yo loved it and the guys running the class were hilarious and so talented. There are places around town that allow you to try the Pottery wheel for free if you buy their pottery but I think this one was fabulous and good value without any hard sell afterwards. Highly recommend
