This magical 2.5-hour kayak journey through the city center begins with a paddle along the length of the Austin skyline during the golden hour, followed by a pause to enjoy the sunset.
We then position ourselves for prime bat viewing and deliver a talk about the bats just before they take flight. We typically time the bat flight perfectly to give you more opportunity to see the rest of the skyline.
On your return journey, we recommend leisurely paddling, taking several breaks to watch as the city lights flicker on and the skyscrapers light up.

Great tour guides. - Mother daughter trip. We did a two person kayak and it was great. The giant paddle boards are for more than I person, so that would have been fun too. Very informative. I’m getting a bat house at home now.

Awesome experience - Awesome experience. Very memorable, came to visit Austin from las vegas for our honeymoon/4th of july, yea it was bats/fireworks!
Aaron and his wife where Very fun, sweet people, they made our experience a lot better, definitely coming back!!

Great family fun - Great service. Easy directions and helpful FAQ sent before the experience despite us booking just a few hours earlier on the same day.
We took our 10 and 12 year olds and the guide suggested us changing to a giant single board rather than two double kayaks. Great suggestion. The bat speech was very informative and we were the only tour group that stayed out later than others around us, affording us more bat-viewing. We would definitely do this again.

Our first kayaking experience - My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our first kayaking experience. It was beautiful. They were very informative and knew exactly when to leave so we could see the sun set

Need more guidance - It was nice to kayak but it would have been to get an actual tour rather than just sending us on our own. The tour guide didn’t tell us anything until the bats came out. But he should have stuck with the group the entire time and told us facts about Austin. Otherwise it was good.
