The duration of this tour is roughly three hours. During that time frame, you’ll visit 3 (three) different venues and be back around 11pm. This tour simply rocks! Please check in with the Austin Detours tour guide in front of the concierge desk of the Hilton Austin Hotel, located at 500 E. 4th St.

Experience live music at three distinct venues, with entry fees and cover charges included. Each performance and venue is uniquely Austin, offering a variety of genres, sizes, styles, and neighborhoods.
- Minimum age is 21 years
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time
- Please check in with the Austin Detours tour guide by 7:45 pm in the Driskill Hotel Bar (604 Brazos St, Austin, TX 78701)
- Due to vendor regulations, pets and emotional support animals are generally NOT permitted. Guests with a service dog MUST contact the local tour operator in advance to request approval.

A Blast in Austin! - My husband really enjoyed this tour. The music venues we visited were amazing and definitely not ones we would have found ourselves. Trace and Dave our guide and driver were fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour!

A very enjoyable evening - We wanted to hear live music in Austin but had no idea where to go. This tour was the answer. We were picked up in a comfortable van at a major downtown hotel and driven by a very competent driver to three venues. Both the driver and the guide were very knowledgeable about music and were able to answer the many questions we had about the various Texas musicians we like.
All three venues were well chosen with different music styles. I would highly recommend this tour. It was my favorite evening of the two weeks I spent in Texas!

Great experience for a solo traveler - I was in Austin on my own and joined in on this tour. It was the perfect way to get out and see what's going on in the Austin live music scene when I didn't know where to go. 100% recommend.

Book this fun tour! - East, West and South Austin spots - we loved the different venues and genres - honky tonk, piano/Christmas pop up bar and funk/soul. Joey and Ike were fantastic guides. Highly recommend this tour for a fun night of great music.

See the love music capital of the world local style! - Our guide had a total pulse on the local music scene, and driver made the ride fun as well. We learned a lot about the up and coming music scene, as well as historical and cultural aspects of Austin.

a great tour of the Austin music scene - Dave was an excellent tour guide curating an excellent experience, sharing knowledge and making sure everyone was enjoying the night. Kelty drove very smoothly and safely---and showed off a little on the two-step dance floor...I had a great time and was able to see 3 very different musical performances in 3 very different venues. While I may not have liked all of the music, I know it was all well-performed/executed and a great introduction to the variety available in the "Live Music Capital of the World." Glad I had a day to explore after the tour as Dave also gave some guidance on a band to catch on my own that turned out pretty amazing and I was also able to check out a venue that we didn't go to during the music crawl. I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Do ALL their tours! - I did 3 tours with Austin Detours: the city tour, the wine shuttle, and the live music bar crawl. I loved all of them and I’d love to do the rest of the tours too! The tour guides were both super friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and well-organized. The tours ran smoothly, stayed on time, and were informative. The guides always stick around afterwards to offer personalized recommendations to each guest, written down so you don’t forget. I’ve been on A LOT of tours and these were some of my favorites - don’t miss anything with Austin Detours!

Austin nightlife - Conner our guide was very informative and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the Austin music scene. The venues we visited were unique, although the performers were ok. Nice riding in the Mercedes van.
