Great! - My wife and I went on the breakfast Taco tour with our tour guide Kelty and she was amazing. We had a great time and aside from the food all being good she provided so much feedback on the history and origin of Austin as well as all the food places and general facts as well. She made it extremely pleasant and we enjoyed it a ton.

Killer tacos and good vibes - We just got off the breakfast taco tour hosted from the Tommie hotel and God damn dude. Our tour guide, Kelty, was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable very strong opinions regarding the city she lives in. Which is great. You can see how much Kelty loves her home. Oh and the taco tour itself. Was magnificent. If you think 3 tacos isn't enough to fill you. I promise you it is. (source: I'm a voracious Easter) Any way Kelty is an amazing guide you should request her for any tour you go on if possible

Breakfast tacos and good vibes - The breakfast taco tour was so sick. Kelty, our tour guide, brought us to 3 great tacos spots around town that were all so good. She was super knowledgeable about the city and gave my husband and I great recommendations for the many things we asked about. 10/10 would recommend!

Incredible food, amazing tour guide! - We signed up for the Breakfast Taco Tour and had the amazing luck of being guided around to 3 different taco spots with Jax Washington. Jax was personable, funny, so knowledgeable about Austin facts and history, and full of recommendations for great things to do tailored to our interests. She recommended we hop on one of the bat boat tours, and we ended up doing it (we hadn't heard about them before) and it was an excellent suggestion. We had such a wonderful experience, and can't recommend this tour enough. If you go to Torchy's, definitely order the queso!

Do the tour! - The tour was so much fun! Our guide told us the 3 tacos on the tour would be plenty of food and he was RIGHT! We were stuffed and happy by the end with lots of ideas of where to go next. I’m glad we did the tour!

Good eatin' at a good price! - This was a great way to experience some of the different parts of Austin and to get a feel for the unique food culture of the city - and Holden was the perfect guide to lead the charge! We went to two mom-and-pop shops and then something a little more mainstream - this was on the Sunday before Christmas and the last local spot was closed. But I have absolutely NO complaints...I left with an overly full stomach and some good photo ops and possibly a new friend! Good times! Highly recommend!

Wicked tour with Joey - Joey took myself and my fiancé on a breakfast Taco tour from the Tommi hotel. He took us to some of the best spots in Austin and there was a lot of difference in the type of establishment which gave us a good feel for the Tacos available in Austin. Joey went above and beyond and gave us a lot of extra tips and places to visit during the rest of our trip and even a bit of a detour to other areas of Austin to help us scope out the city. 5* review for Joey and the tour.

Not what we expected - Not quite what we were expecting. This wasn't so much a breakfast taco tour, as a three stop "choose your taco" tour in the comfort of a nice van with a very friendly tour guide driver. Prior to this tour, we can just had the Migas taco at Veracruz All Natural and thought that the breakfast taco scene in Austin truly was as big of a deal as the buzz led us to to believe. During this tour, we started at El Chilito and were told that they were one of the only places outside of San Antonio that had the "puffy taco" style, so we tried that with picadillo beef and another Migas taco. The puffy taco was unimpressive, and the "puffy" tortilla just felt thicker and tougher than usual. The Migas taco from here was also super boring. The free queso that our group shared was pretty tasty, though. Next we went to Papalote where we tried the carnitas and Alambres tacos, both of which were actually very tasty, but neither of which was a breakfast taco (because we got to choose whatever we wanted, and our guide didn't really recommend the breakfast tacos here). We also got the horchata and hibiscus agua frescas with the meal, which were nice. Lastly, we ordered in advance for The Taco Joint because it gets so crazy busy, so finding seating for all of us was a little tricky, but we found a big table for the group and ordered another Migas taco, as well as the potato, egg, and cheese taco. Again, neither was particularly impressive, so kind of a bummer. Fwiw, I would encourage this tour add Veracruz All Natural Migas taco to the list and make it more prescriptive after identifying the best three or four breakfast tacos that can be hit in Austin in a morning. We had fun, so no regrets, but it wasn't what we expected, and now we feel that the breakfast taco scene is overhyped.
