Awesome Experience - Michael texted me during the day of our tour (Jan. 19, 2026) that the Northern lights might show up early so he asked if it's okay for us to get picked up at our hotel an hour early. We agreed and he was on time. On our way to the glass house, the Northern lights were already showing @ approximately 9pm ish so he stopped the van on the side of the road for us to come out and watch it ourselves, then we proceeded to the glass house. The Northern lights put out a show that night. We were out most of the time. He also did a great job taking pictures of us. Whenever I get cold , I would go in for a little bit. The house has ample seating. Lots of snacks and warm drinks and water. Whenever there was a spike on the activity of the light , he would call on the people inside so they wouldn't miss a thing. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this tour!

Good place to see the Northern Lights. - The host built this cozy cabin from the ground up together with his wife. The atmosphere is wonderful and it’s a perfect warm place to wait for the northern lights(🍪☕️😋). The owner was so kind and will took a professional and beautiful photo for us. The view from the cabin is beautiful and wide open. I was lucky enough to see the aurora twice at this location. If I come back to Alaska in the future, I would definitely choose to come here again.

Amazing! - We did the self driven tour and it was probably one of our better ideas. There were a lot of people in the group so we probably would have gotten back to the hotel even later than we did. The tour guide was very kind and made sure he got photos of everyone when the lights would show up. The snacks provided were premium, the seats super comfortable and the cabin well kept. Thank you so much for a great experience!

The host is so patient - We have a short stay in Fairbanks for 2 nights, the weather is not very promising but I want to give a shot anyway. It is a last minute booking but the host quickly accepted and picked us on time. The glass house is very warm and very enjoyable, but the outside weather is not promising. We waited from 10pm to 2 am, we mostly give it up. But the host keeps checking the sky, finally at 15 minutes before 2am. The sky just cleared up a section and we saw the light, it is worth waiting for, thanks hosts be so patient and never gives up

An epic Aurora adventure of nature and space worthy of bucket listers. - Aurora Glass House - we were awestruck! Exiting the van at 10:30 at night into an unlit spot next to the glass house, I was disoriented by the one hour ride until someone said, “look up!” The night sky on winter solstice looked as though we were on Venus! Huge bands of purple and green… something, flooded the sky overhead. The colors appeared at first still. Then the slowly shifted, dancing into new formations. It was 35 below. My fingers froze as I adjusted my phone camera and snapped pictures. The glass house was dark inside, lit only by the aurora reflecting on the snow. Inside there were tables and chairs, position for viewing out the windows. The place had a self serve snack bar with hot drinks and chips gratis. The tour service had a photographer so we could get some photos without doing the selfie thing. The whole event was curious, fascinating, and intense as I listened to the description of how this miracle came to be. I realized I was standing on the top of this round planet with so many forces playing together to light up the north sky. Bucket List - Big Check!!!

Aurora abounded - Incredible space for viewing the lights! The sky was clear & the aurora abounded. So nice to move indoors to warm up with cocoa & then dash back out. Great experience, exceeded my expectations — their photos of us in front of the lighted sky are keepsakes

Unforgettable Aurora Experience in a Cozy Glass House - We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Aurora Glass House and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fairbanks. We joined the tour twice around New Year’s and were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights both nights. The experience was comfortable, well organized, and truly special. The guide team was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. They answered all our questions, helped with photos, and made sure every guest felt welcome and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The glass house is perfectly located and very cozy – warm, comfortable, with snacks, drinks, and even board games. It’s a great place to relax while waiting for the aurora, especially for families. The New Year’s Eve fireworks were a beautiful and thoughtful touch that made the night unforgettable. Transportation was very smooth and comfortable, and the whole experience felt almost door-to-door. We traveled with two children, and this tour was very family-friendly. Our kids were very happy and comfortable the entire time. Seeing the Northern Lights in such a warm and welcoming setting was one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. Highly recommended!

Bucket List Aurora Adventure! - We had an amazing time on this adventure! Had no idea that the aurora would be so big and bright! The tour guide Michael was helpful and friendly, and he took some great pictures of us! It was below -40 F so we were so thankful for the glass house to keep warm. You won't want to miss this!
