- Ellora Caves - Guests will be collected from their Aurangabad hotel by our driver in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and transported to the Ellora Caves. Beyond its multi-level entrance lies a grand stupa hall, known as chaitya-griha (prayer house). At the center of this cave stands a 15-foot statue of Buddha in a preaching posture, likely constructed around 650 AD. The most remarkable cave is the Kailashanatha Temple (Cave 16), recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This temple boasts the largest single monolithic rock excavation globally. It is a chariot-shaped monument representing Mount Kailasa, the sacred home of Lord Shiva. The Kailasha temple excavation also showcases deities, goddesses, and mythologies from Vaishnavism, Shaktism, along with relief panels summarizing the two major Hindu Epics. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the channels near Cave 32, where volcanic lava once flowed.
After the tour, guests will be returned to their hotel in Aurangabad.
