A Rainy but Enjoyable Experience! - Due to timing, we went to Waiheke Island in the rain. While it was not as picturesque in the rain, we still had a lovely time with JoJo! We saw all the hot spots on the island and could get out to take pictures or take them from the van. JoJo was more than accommodating! We even paid extra to go to Mudbrick Winery, which was both beautiful and very tasty. I highly recommend this tour, even in the rain!

Scenic tour of Waiheke - Short, scenic and informative trip. We didn't feel like getting drunk on a winery tour so we did this instead. Lovely and worth the cheap price.

Great winery experience - Mathieu was a wonderful guide and so great to spend the afternoon with. The wineries we went to were all beautiful and Mathieu was able to add in so much information about the local area. He stopped at many viewpoints for photo ops, and took pictures that he sent to us. A great day, I would do it again.

Fun, relaxing day! - We had a wonderful day with Kiwi Connect! JoJo was an excellent host, extremely friendly and full of information about the island. It is a beautiful island and a private tour really is the best option!

Great Personal Tour of the Coast - Mathieu was our personal tour guide, just my husband and I. He was absolutely amazing, so personable, and extremely knowledgeable about Waiheke Island. We stopped off at various beaches with the most stunning views. Picked us up at our chosen place on Waiheke and dropped us back off at the Ferry Terminal. The tour was in a comfortable electric vehicle and would highly recommend it.

Excellent Private Tour with Baby - We visited the island on a Friday in early December and booked a private tour with Kiwi Connect. This was the 1.5 hour driving tour to go around parts of the island to see some nice view points, with drop-off in Oneroa. Our guide, Jojo, was excellent and very informative. For those uninterested in the vineyard scene, this tour (and company) is a no brainer. This tour company is also great logistically, to make your life easier on the back-end or downstream end of planning any vacation. I.e. readily available and in touch via WhatsApp and intently focused on accommodating two adults traveling with an infant. This became even more important when we were blindsided with car sickness in rear facing car seats when we were driving around the Northland prior to this. *Could not recommend them enough for families with young children.*

A great introduction to a short visit to Waiheke Island. - Graeme rang me the night beforehand to give meeting information for our tour. We virtually had a personal tour with information that was of interest to us regarding places we could return to after the tour. He dropped us off at our place of choice and we used the public transport to return to the other places that we wanted to spend some time at. He was very informative regarding the island history and places of interest. He was also interested in wildlife experiences in our country (Australia) that differ from New Zealand. We were interested to hear about some of his previous work experiences in other countries as well as his hobby of fishing on the island. We were not interested in wineries or fine dining and were happy with his suggestions for lunch and places to swim. Overall, this tour provided us with exactly what we wanted from this visit to the island. He was a very amenable guide and proceeded at a pace, including short stops, that enabled us to enjoy not only the views but also gain an insight into life on the island both past and present. A good friend of ours in Australia informed us that she lived on the island in her childhood when it was predominately a hippie influenced community. If you want a short personal introduction to what you can do on an extended stay on the island as well as sufficient information to fill in the rest of the day before catching the ferry back to Auckland. The price was more than competitive with other tours on offer. Des and Annette (active retirees) from Tweed Heads, Australia.
