We really enjoyed both... - We really enjoyed both stops and highly recommend the tour.

Lovely day, really enjoyable. - Had a fabulous time at Hobbiton our hobbit guide Rob made sure we had a good experience even when we had a bit of rain. Lovely place to visit, enjoyed the drink in the pub to relax at the end.
Waitomo caves and glow worms were beautiful and it was lovely to learn about the cave.
The bus guide was helpful with information the whole trip.

Great trip, great guides - Great trip, great guides. The trip left on time to Waitomo Caves. Our driver was safe, entertaining, and full of great information. The caves and Hobbiton do not disappoint. Beautiful drive, and great tours. Lunch was adequate. There are places along the way to buy snacks or other food. Worth saying that I was on this trip alone. I was between business trips and found myself with a free weekend in Aukland. Great trip solo. I was not the only one. Don’t miss out.

Hobbiton is MAGICAL! 10/10 - Gorgeous countryside viewing on the 2hr trip to the caves. Our guide and driver Matty was informative & friendly. The caves, whilst fascinating, was let down a little as you are not allowed to take any photos inside. You have the obligatory photo before entering the cave and they superimpose you onto images that you can purchase at the end of the tour. The glow worms and the cave system was interesting but I was expecting a lot more to be honest. I would rate the caves 7 out of 10.
A one hour drive across to Hobbiton and wow! This is the most professional and well-run tourist attraction. It is such a magical part of the world and during lambing season. It was just so gorgeous. The actual movie set itself is otherworldly and surreal and you feel you are on a different planet. I would rate this tour a 10 out of 10. our guide, James was amazing . I cannot fault this tour at all. Long day but very well organised.

Well organized tour to see major attractions with - Well organized tour to cover two major attractions in a day. Our driver/guide was nice, professional. Wifi worked fine in the bus. At the time of checkin we were given a water bottle and a cookie. Picnic lunch box was good, also came with a water bottle. Everything worked fine and timely.

Great tour and well worth the money! - Our bus driver Rachel was fantastic, told us so many interesting facts about NZ history, culture and nature, and made sure we had a great day. Both the glow worms and Hobbiton were amazing. Everything was even better than I expected!

Please write pick-up location clearly in your confirmation letter - The confirmation letter had Cordis Auckland as the depart location (also this is what is listed in the depart location when we booked the tour online). However, our family arrived earlier and waited there for 15 mins without seeing the coach (while some other tours' coaches were in front of the hotel). The meeting time passed, so we got worried and called the Contact Center. The call is quickly answered and the operator is helpful, however we had to run 15 mins to get to another meeting location as the coach has left Cordis already. The issue discovered is that the coach actually waited in the bus stop on Symonds Street, but this location is not written in the text box that highlights the depart location, but rather in smaller font below the text box in the confirmation letter. For the rest of the trip, it was mostly good (lunch was good, the driver to Rotorua is especially nice and helpful, but the wifi didn't work on the bus, the Waitomo cave was not really impressive comparing to what I saw elsewhere and the Hobbiton tour was in such a hurry that you don't have much time to take photos). The pick up was really a problem - a bad way to start your vacation. What made it worse is that when we arrived at the new meeting point and pointed the problem to the girl who signs people up, she said "that's not our problem"
