Hobbiton or bust! - Our driver, Raymond, safely drove us to Hobbiton and the Glow Worm cave. His talking points were relevant and interesting. It was a long day, but he brought out the chips and cookies at the right time for the ride home. Only a beer for the ride home could have made it better.🤣

Do this tour if you can! - We had a fantastic day with Raymond as our guide! He was friendly with a good sense of humor. He gave us great tips that enhanced our tour of the Hobbiton Movie set, and told us inside facts that we didn't learn on the tour. The caves and seeimg the glo worms was really cool too. A great tour!!

Sardine mobile to Hobbiton - The tours were both quite unique and memorable. The driver / guide for the day was very delightful and informative. The vehicle however was a packed sardine can for over 5 hours of commute time.extremely un comfortable. Too many rows, seat recline disabled. Worse than an airline coach seating.
My neck is still soar. Would never do it again.

Hobbiton great, cave meh, capable guide & driver - For a LOTR geek like me, the Hobbiton tour was a breathtaking, spiritual experience. If you can, take 20 minutes to watch the start of the Fellowship before you go. You’ll be amazed by the view.
I was less impressed by the cave tour, but most of my previous cave experience is within the US national park system, where conservation is more of a focus. The cave and the lights were cool, but my guide didn’t seem focused on preserving the cave. Food and souvenir costs were high, and the photo op using a green screen to superimpose your image on a cave backdrop was cheesy at best. Most of us either newer phones can do this a lot cheaper.
Geoff was a great driver. He had information for most of the drive. He also handled the vehicle well in the winding roads off the freeway, making the ride comfortable for us. 👍👍 on Geoff.

Great time and very interesting - Our tour guide - Gabrielle was excellent!! Was very knowledgeable and interesting. Loved the hobbit town tour - glow cave was okay we were hoping it would have been a bit longer in the boat.

Great way to see Hobbiton and the Caves - This was a great experience, and a good way to spend a day. We loved the Hobbiton tour and we enjoyed the glowworm caves, but felt that it would have been a very long drive to just do the glowworm caves on their own so this made a lot of sense. Our guide, Aidel was wonderful, knowledgeable, and an excellent conversationalist, making the trip that much more enjoyable. It makes for a long day but it’s worth the trip!

Fun day - Loved Hobbiton - a must see - glow cave was also very nice. Long day but well worth it. Enjoy New Zealand, a great place to visit

Great tour! - Really enjoyed our tour with Adil! He kept us entertained with interesting facts and history while driving to our destinations. The right level of care and independence to enjoy our time at both locations. Highly recommend!
