Hobbiton and glow worms experience - It was an awesome experience specially getting inside the Hobbit holes. The place and surrounding are is amazingly beautiful specially the farm and the rolling hills with green pastures

10 Stars ⭐️ !! Simon was amazing! - From the very beginning, this tour delivered. We had to get up very early, but our driver Simon was extremely sweet, friendly and knowledgeable (and also very funny). I was expecting the long ride to be quite a boring time, but Simon’s commentary lit up the bus and created a warm and happy atmosphere, he knew fun facts about literally everything around us, and I have rarely come away from a similar experience having learned so much. We were provided snacks and water and took some nice breaks on the way there and back, and the rest spots were chosen very well so we could see some more interesting places along the route. (A group of other passengers brought him back a sandwich from one of our rest stops because we felt like a real team all the way!) On the way back, we got to ask questions about the culture, history and society of New Zealand and other things, and I was amazed at the wealth of information and knowledge Simon had ready to go about anything we asked. This was one of my favorite excursions of all time on a vacation, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting New Zealand!!

Perfect tour - This tour was amazing! Special thanks to Raymond and Nancy. They were very helpful, friendly and informative. It was beautiful adventure. In addition, they make sure you stay hydrated and gave a complimentary water and look after you very well. Definitely recommend.

Nice ride & relaxed daytrip from Auckland - Very relaxed bus tour from Auckland. Our guide Simon is a driving encyclopedia and made the ride in the nice bus very interesting. The caves are a highlight, also a a non Hobbit Fan.

Recommend booking via „Auckland & Beyond Tours“ - We did our tour with the provider „Auckland & Beyond Tours“ and definitely recommend! 💛 Such a great trip, our guide Dave was kind, helpful and funny, and shared a lot of knowledge on the way, he made this trip so much more exciting and comfortable. The Hobbiton tour was such an incredible experience, even if you don’t know the movies this is definitely worth seeing! Knowing the movies definitely gives you the extra adrenaline and emotion kick! 😄 Waitomo glowworm cave experience was also very nice and a great way to end the day. We appreciated that we started the day at 6am (pickup from the hotel and we had a quick breakfast stop on the way) and were able to come back relatively early, most other tour providers start at 7-ish. Had enough (but not too much so it gets boring) time for a bit of shooing an breaks in between. Was an amazing day 💛 thanks everyone! Oh and also I forgot y phone on the bus 😞 but received it back on the same evening, it was taken care of very quickly. Apologies again for the inconvenience 🙈

Great guide, great trip - Adil was an amazing tour guide and introduced the local area really well. Both Hobbiton and the Waitomo caves were really great experiences and if we were to drive ourselves it would be far too tiring to do in one day. 10/10 would book Adil again.
