An incredible and insightful tour - Our trip to Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves was a fantastic experience. The destinations themselves were outstanding, though it was our guide Damien who made the day truly one to remember. Not only was he able to provide context to the sights we were going to experience, but his deep knowledge of New Zealand and the history of the land and its people gave us a much better understanding of where we were and what an interesting place New Zealand is. We highly recommend this tour.

Bush and abeach - A Fantastic Day with Bush and Beach! We did the Auckland to Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves day tour with Bush and Beach, and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Hotel pick-up and drop-off made everything so easy, and the tour was very well organised. Our guide, Damian, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories and insights along the way. He really made the day special and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Hobbiton was magical, and the included lunch in the marquee on-site behind the Green Dragon was delicious and a great way to relax and take in the surroundings after the tour. The Waitomo Caves were breathtaking and such a unique experience. The whole day was smooth, relaxed, and fun—thanks to Damian and the team at Bush and Beach. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Auckland!

Amazing Experience! - Such an amazing day! Our tour guide was Damien, and it was such a pleasure to be with him. Rather than just ramble off random facts, Damien was clearly very passionate about everything he talked about, from information about Hobbiton and the caves, also New Zealand's history, landmarks, Maori culture and wildlife. We learned so much! The day itself was so great, the Hobbiton set was everything I dreamed of! The glow-worm caves were beautiful as well. Highly recommend this tour! Especially if you get Damien! He made sure we didn't miss out on anything, and even stopped for us to get a yummy ice cream on the way back to Auckland!

Excellent Experience - This was an excellent experience for all The Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit lovers. I completely recommend to all fans if you are in Australia or go to Australia pop over to New Zealand for this tour. It's so worth it. The lunch buffet was delicious! The glow worm caves was an added bonus to see more of the beautiful country of New Zealand in the short time I was there. All the staff were super helpful and kind too.

Great full day trip. Hobbiton is beautiful and so interesting. Loved this tour. - This was a great full day trip without the worry of driving there ourselves. Due to the early start to our day, our driver, Wayne, stopped about an hour into the trip to get coffee and quick bite to eat. Hobbiton was absolutely spectacular! Even if you haven’t seen the movies, the country side is beautiful and well worth the visit. The Buffet Lunch was included in the tour we selected and we weren’t disappointed. Lots of food choices. We also went to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. You are guided into the caves then board a small boat to get a better view of the Glowworms. Very interesting. Photography is not allowed in the caves. You won’t be disappointed!

Great times! - I took this tour to Hobbiton and the caves. I learned more from the continuing education provided for 4 hours (as we drove through this gorgeous country) as our tour guide spoke eloquently through out on various topics. Damian, our tour guide, was better than a book; very articulate, and extremely friendly (from ice creams to colognes) and made getting to places so much fun. I recommend Damian and this company to all explorers, especially if you want to know more about everything and cabins in the bushes of Aotearoa.

Amazing experience - The trip was so lovely. The guide is so lovely. He shared so much knowledge about all auckland. He is very enthusiastic about his job. I dont think the cave was worth maybe because i have seen many more beautiful caves before. But habbiton is amazing specifically if u watches and like the movie
