• Magic Broomstick Segway Tours - Participants will be taught how to ride a Segway and will have ample time to practice before embarking on a journey around the Waterfront of Devonport, Auckland’s charming historic seaside village. The tour includes passing by historic homes and sports fields, and visiting a reserve at Cheltenham Beach for some Segway fun.

For those eager to experience riding a Segway, this adventure is perfect. It is crafted to teach participants how to ride and offers ample time to practice before exploring the village and enjoying the sights of Devonport, Auckland’s historic seaside village. The journey includes a ride along the Waterfront to Cheltenham Beach, providing a stunning view of the Hauraki Gulf and Rangitoto Island, which, at just 650 years old, is the youngest volcanic cone majestically rising from the Gulf. There will be numerous opportunities to capture fantastic photos of the scenery and, naturally, of participants on a Segway. Upon returning to the base at Devonport Wharf, riders will have the chance to test the Segway’s capabilities by navigating up and down the hills through the village’s back streets, where they can admire the beautifully restored Victorian villas.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Minimum age is 10 years on Family Fun Ride and A Taste of Segway.
• A maximum of 6 people per tour booking.
• Not recommended for people who are not agile enough to climb stairs unaided.
• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
• If canceled due to extreme weather conditions that make it unsafe to ride a Segway, you will be given the option of an alternative date or refund Less administration fee.
• All participants weights MUST be between 35kgs - 120kgs (75lbs - 265lbs)
