Absolutely wonderful. My... - Absolutely wonderful. My Lord of the Rings fascinated husband was in his glory. I would have liked a few handrails at the steepest steps.

Great company, great experience. - Our tour guide took us from our hotel in Auckland to Hobbiton and back. He was friendly, informative, and helpful. He took us there and back on 2 different routes, which was very nice. Bathroom breaks were well-scheduled. We were on a bit of a time schedule, and he got us back to our hotel right on time. A fun trip!

Small group, long drive, loads of fun! - Although the ride there was long, the van was very comfortable with adequate stops, including bathroom breaks. Small group touring is the best option. Our driver, Michele commanded a wealth of interesting topograohy, and Hobbit movie making knowledge. Her wit and knowledge made the trip so enjoyable!! Hobbiton was an absolute blast!!

To paraphrase Bilbo Baggins, I went on an adventure!' - Just amazing. Our driver was extremely knowledgeable and provided information and stories not told on the tour. The tour itself was excellent. Though there were many groups touring, the individual group size was reasonable and I never felt rushed. The tour guide was really engaging and he geared the tour for both people with LOTR/Hobbits experience as well as those who had never read the books or seen the movies. The buffet lunch was very good and well worth the price. All and all, I would highly recommend this tour through Bush and Beach.

Great trip to Hobbiton with Bush & Beach - What a great day we had. Damien was our guide for the day and was excellent. His knowledge and info about New Zealand along our route was great. We learned so much. The tour round Hobbiton was very well organised and although so many people visit daily, it didn’t seem too rushed. The hobbit houses you can go in are brilliant and then a refreshing flagon of Hobbit ale or cider at the Green Dragon. Food was great and plenty of it. Return back with a stop at Mad Mikes rounded off a great day. Many thanks Damien for a most memorable trip.

Magical New Zealand Experience - Wayne was our Bush and Beach tour guide for the day. Everything was well-planned and provided the four of us with an excellent experience. Even if you are not a Lord of the Rings fan, this tour is worth a day of your trip in New Zealand. The early start allowed us to avoid the busiest times of the day. The tour at Hobbiton was very organized so you didn't feel rushed or crowded at each part. It is a magical place, and walking through the Hobbit house was special. The attention to details was incredible. We also enjoyed the buffet (if you left hungry, it's your own fault!) A special thanks to Wayne for realizing that one of our group left a phone in the van, which he returned to our hotel promptly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED tour and company!

A Most Excellent Experience - The hotel pickup was right on time. The drive out to Hobbiton was smooth sailing and a very comfortable Sprinter style van. The rest stops are will planned at quality locations. Our driver Mary was great. Very informative with lots of interesting information. Hobbiton tour operate like clockwork. Entertaining and informative. The luch was very very good with many choices and what appeared to be great care for those with dietary needs. Well done to all involved.

Worth a visit - fan of the movies or not! - Hobbiton is exactly as you expect as a movie set - only better. The location is beautiful and the staff excellent. Tons of people but they manage it so well you never feel you’re standing around wasting time.

Great provider and excellent activity - Very efficient provider. Good email communication on what to expect, where to be and when. Arrived for the pickup on the dot. Good commentary on the 2-hour drive from Auckland. Rest stop 1/2 way was greatly appreciated. Excellent communication on where to be at what times during arrival and departure. Of course, the site itself was great.
