During the tour, step into the lush pastures of the Shire, explore 44 hobbit holes, admire the beautiful gardens, learn the secrets and stories behind the movies, and enjoy a refreshing drink at the renowned Hobbiton pub, The Green Dragon Inn.

* Maintenance & restoration construction at Hobbiton is scheduled to start on 01 June 2025, with major works expected to be completed by September 2025. During this time, construction and maintenance equipment and noise will be present. Tours will continue as usual but will follow an alternate route around the construction area, offering a glimpse into the efforts to maintain the magical appearance of the Hobbiton Movie Set as seen in the films.

• Auckland - Unfortunately, it’s time to head north again, but the day isn’t over yet with a fully guided return trip to Auckland, including surprise stops. Depending on the weather and timing, the guides enjoy making additional surprise stops. Perhaps a scenic stop by a lake or a chance to try New Zealand ice creams, as they love introducing you to local wildlife and animals. Join the tour to discover where you’ll go!
