The day starts with a pickup from a central Auckland hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Enjoy a picturesque 2-hour drive to the charming Coromandel town of Tairua.

From Tairua, embark on a 15-minute guided hike to the top of Mt. Paku, a small volcano offering stunning views of the Coromandel coastline. Following a brief drive, join a small group for a 1.5-hour walk to the breathtaking Cathedral Cove, with the option to explore other coves along the route. Spend at least 30 minutes relaxing on the beach and taking in the coastal scenery at Cathedral Cove.

After the return walk and another short drive, enjoy some time soaking your feet in the unique natural hot springs at Hot Water Beach (timing depends on the tide schedule). Lunch will be available at a boutique café at Hot Water Beach or Hahei Beach (at your own expense) before heading back to Auckland around 6pm.
